I've looked at the video of the first goal several times and although the announcer gave it out as an own goal it surely has to be given to Kris Lee.

I think kris's reaction to the goal tells the story but I would have claimed it real quick....in my day if you were within a yard of an own goal off a defender you grabbed it....

It looked like an own goal but it went in so who cares!

 

Bury didn't have a group of "singers" yesterday like Sudbury, many of their fans seemed quite downcast after the game and were only happy to see that Ipswich had won. Thankfully to their amusement they were friendly when I thought they were talking about Norwich!

Bury fans are the pits.They did have singers.....who in the end were more or less told they were not wanted (coz of the odd bit of language)All they seem to want to do is blame us for all their problems. On Easter Monday they brought 50 fans to our ground....for a match 15 mins down the road!!! Deeply pathetic.

I thought they were a decent side, in both games but they gave the ball to us quite easily at times, though when they did have it they looked dangerous.

Wouldn't say I was that enamoured with the Bury fans either. Some of them were quite childish when we visited there a few weeks back.

Bar was open early, so no chance for Ye Olde Bull, and all in all, a great day.

romford bought less than 50 fans down to us last season and most of them live less than 5 minutes down the road,now that is poor!
