FAO: El Gaffer...

was with the travelling City support yesterday.

Not a bad game at all, although quite how Banstead got three goals ahead I'll never know!

We dominated the first half but couldn't get the final ball in the box and paid the price for it when Banstead came at us second half.

And who knows... if Wozza's through ball in the last minute had been that little bit lighter, we might have had a dramatic equaliser.

Of course.. 'Coyler' could have helped us out with an own goal too...

Fair play to you, a good match to watch.

Also... no idea who the referee was but I thought he did a brilliant job, especially when you take into account the state of the pitch!

Cobham 2 V Bedfont 2.......

On the whole weird game really, Cobham scored 1st against the run of play to be fair, we then continued to press and scored a deserved equalizer, then 5 minutes later we had a clear 1 on 1 which was easily saved by the keeper, with that miss Cobham went up to the other end and scored, our keeper made a great save( the best goalie in the league) only to find a deflection off our defender went straight into our net(cheers buncee), as half time approached one of there players recieved a 2nd yellow abit harsh really. half time 2-1 cobham.

2nd half we knew what was gonna happen 2 banks of 4 and a target man, we just coulnt break Cobham down, very unprofessional on our part just no final ball, What was fustrating for us is the Cobham boys just contined brweaking the game down stop start stop start, then with 30 seconds on the clock to go Bedfont scored to level things up.

on the whole that was best Bedfont were gonna get out of it dissapointing on our behalf but fair play to Cobham they defended well.

P.S JURG your never guess who scored the leveller?

you guessed it ME yay

Hey Guv.

Would agree with your report. Thought we played well, especially when down to 10 for more than a half (thought the ref didn't have the best of games, esp when you look at what he let go compared with the 2 yellows our lad received - your last man who pulled back our winger, should, by the letter of the law, also walked).

Thought we should have nicked another goal at some point and wrapped it up, but for the second sat in a row, we failed to kill the game off with 10 men and conceded in injury time.

What No were you? I wasn't taking any interest once you equalised (too gutted), so didn't see who it was!!
