We certainly did! We deserved the win but squandered too many chances and should have killed the game off early in the second half. Still a good result in hot conditions. Keep this side together and I can see us progressing very well this season.

excellent. well done town. any thougths from wabbeyman or wabbeynut?

Close game. You scored a penalty and our keeper pulled of a couple of good saves. We hit the woodwork twice and had one scrampled off the line. Hot conditions. Lack of atmosphere. Am gutted... draw may have been a fairer result ?

Entertaining afternoon. Referee marks out 10 yards with nine steps at a free kick. He was told he only stepped out nine steps and he responded by saying 'he had big ones'!!!! He then wanted to hurry the game up because he wanted to get home to watch The X Factor. Good character and kept the lid on the game.

Great result!!! Who do we fancy in the next round??? Enfield 1893 are still in the hat but must win replay in Halstead after 3-3 this afternoon.... An away tie at Broxbourne against 1893 will do the cold end.... could potentially draw a massive crowd of 800-900?? we can dream... Prob draw Boreham Wood at home now!!!
