Norwich United v Ampthill Town

For the attention of Mr Angry, Craig Bicknell and Ref Off Ref:

There's a kind of hush all over the world tonight

All over the world you can hear the sounds of lovers in love

You know what I mean

Just the two of us and nobody else in sight

There's nobody else and I'm feeling good just holding you tight

So listen very carefully

Move closer now and you will see what I mean

It isn't a dream

The only sound that you will hear

Is when I whisper in your ear

I love you forever and ever

There's a kind of hush all over the world tonight

All over the world you can hear the sounds of lovers in love

La-la-la-la-la-la-la

La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la

La-la-la-la-la la-la-la-la-la

La-la-la-la-la

So listen very carefully

Move closer now and you will see what I mean

It isn't a dream

The only sound that you will hear

Is when I whisper in your ear

I love you forever and ever

There's a kind of hush all over the world tonight

All over the world people just like us are fallin' in love

Yeah, they're fallin' in love

Hush, they're fallin' in love

Hush

For the attention of The Retard (Rhodes)

As I'd said was in Spain, sat nav on my bicycle took me the scenic route to Norwich!!!!, reached Barcelona on way back up when the friggin seat came loose ripping a hole in my leopard skin thong......brand new they were too.

Texted Craig and he was understanding so called Norwich to explain my unfortunate episode and mutually they decided to call the game off......which reading that could be classed as totally bull if it were in the Rhodesworld.

dance%20(2).gif Im well pleased with that result Blaise scored in the 8th min of the game so we did well to hold on for the rest of the game against a team from a higher division and we kept a clean sheet which is always a good thing.

Cracking local derby! Hertford will want to put one over St Mags after losing twice to them last season!

Cockfosters 0 St Margaretsbury 0

A report from another's Forum:

Cockfosters 0 St. Margaretsbury 0

Pre Season Friendly

Gate £4, no prog, att 31hc

Not a bad game, apart from the fact that the forwards seemed to have left their shooting boots at home. The visitors should have been a couple of goals up at the break but missed plenty of chances including a lob over the keeper which fell just the wrong side of the post. Cockfosters were marginally the better team after the break following wholesale changes and they were much more wasteful in front of goal. Cockfosters were a niggly side and the ref had to ask for one of their players to be subbed before he was sent off. In truth there could have been four red cards (three for Cockfosters) if this had been a meaningful fixture but the game did not get out of hand, partly due to an excellent referring performance and also due to the fact thet the visitors only lost their cool on one occasion.

Cockfosters have a quaint little ground close to the tube station of the same name. They have a row of bucket seats on one side with some flimsy cover. To be honest they are unlikely to progress up the pyramid as they seem to have made maximum use of the space they have at their current ground which is hemmed in by a main road, two cricket grounds and a bowling green.

Norwich United v Ampthill Town

For the attention of Mr Angry, Craig Bicknell and Ref Off Ref:

Oh, don't it hurt deep inside

To see someone do something to her

Oh, don't it pain to see someone cry

Oh, especially when someone is her

Silence is golden, but my eyes still see

Silence is golden, golden

But my eyes still see

Talking is cheap, people follow like sheep

Even though there is nowhere to go

How could she tell, he deceived her so well

Pity, she'll be the last one to know

Silence is golden, but my eyes still see

Silence is golden, golden

But my eyes still see

How many times will she fall for his line

Should I tell her or should I keep cool

And if I tried, I know she'll say I lied

Mind your business, don't hurt her, you fool

Silence is golden, but my eyes still see

Silence is golden, golden

But my eyes still see

But my eyes still see

But my eyes still see

The Cockfosters number 9 could've been sent off 3 times on his own I think, big lad and didn't mind putting himself about.

Was nice to bump into an old adversary in ex-Cockfosters manager David Craig who popped in to watch.

Who was the Referee at Chalk Lane last night out of interest, he sounded half decent

So it wasn't a certain person who occasionally posts on here then, it sounds as if Cockfosters didn't do themselves any favours last night
