Great game last night, with good team selection, made a decent Bury team look average!! Convinced we will beat Lowestoft on Monday. My man of the match was Hayles just pipping Rook

You have nothing to fear but fear itself on Monday. The Trawlerboys have been limping along all season with scratchy wins and late goals. Their last two wins on the road were against teams whose seasons were over.

 

Over here at Ricay, our pacey but inexperienced front line caused them all sorts of problems in the first half, although we gave up the fight in the second half.

 

Come on Urchins you can do it and make it an Essex double !!!!

Thought you deserved your win, especially with quite a bold selection - It could have been so different though if Bury had not missed an absolute sitter in the first minute with their bloke sticking a free header over from five yards. Once you went ahead, Bury had to change their counter-attacking game plan and couldn't do it. You were pretty comfortable in the end.

 

Agree Smith was your stand-out player but I can also see that it must difficult to fit him into a team shape sometimes.

A great performance. We played with confidence took the game to them, great tactics. Bury are a good side and we made them look average. The ref was easily conned by there style of play they must of had a 'Concord' master class. Full marks to the Bury fans, made lots of noise untill they realised the Fat Lady was about to sing. BRING ON LOWESTUFFED.

Was on the outskirts of bury st Edmunds yesterday afternoon and took time to read the local rag and nice to read they were beaten by the better team no excuses apart from the pitch suiting our style of football
