in the last two games we have come from behind to grab a result where other teams may have crumbled and died .not easy on the eye i must admit but no team wins every game but a good side chips.away some games are won ugly we were blaming the pitch a few games back which looks.superb at the moment.we need to stop moaning on the terraces and get behind the team .best team in the league on the day the season is a marathon not a sprint

Spot on Mr Short

With the resources (players) at our disposal we punch well above our weight.

24 clubs in our league are all competing to be better and more successful than all the rest. It may be a tad naive to believe we can sweep all aside playing like Brazil and scoring a hat full of goals in every game. I do believe we are an honest side playing to the best of our abilities with the squad we have, on a good day we are a pleasure to watch. So far this season even on bad days we are managing to scrape results or draws.  Not bad for a “pub team from Essex”
We are a better team than last season I believe despite losing several key players and having to rebuild. The club is making progress in my opinion on and off the pitch, not as fast as some may like but let us not forget the other 24 clubs are all trying to do the same.

Great to see more posters coming onto this forum.

I think we've got a good team already, we've got a few weaknesses but there's clearly a good spirit in the team hence we're pulling out some rabbits out of the bag.

We've in a good place in the league even after not having the best of luck with both injuries/suspensions and the fixtures could have been kinder to us.

We've only lost once this season.

think  everyone from management to every player  puts  in plenty  of  effort and want to win every game  and i think  most of us   try  and support  the team no matter  what .....but in truth  and ive taken quite a few different people  with  me  over  the last few  seasons   in the hope  that some  might stick and become  regulars  but  they have never  gone back because they say the game was awful  and boring  and yes  theres  been quiet  a few times when thats  been true  , i guess it wont  stop  me going  im used  to it what with watching southend as  well   ,  but no matter  how many  posters u  can put up or come up with ideas  to get more  to  come through  the  gate  and watch  its  what  they see  on the pitch  that will bring them back and most want entertainment and for some  reason  there  never seems  a lot  of that on offer in the  home games ,
