 As has been said previously I cannot really understand the problem with the u 23s representing the club in this competition. If you look at the rules for this competition it is allowed to use an u23 team to represent your club. What we should be discussing is the gulf in standard between our u23s and a team in step 4.

Its very easy to be wise after the event. 

And the club made it very clear who would be representing us.

Couldn’t agree more. The website said it wouldn’t be a first 11 so we all had the choice on whether to go or not based on this information. We enter these competitions to give fringe players and youth experience at the higher level. Now they certainly would of gained that. It would of been a horrible experience for them but sometimes you need that to give you a kick up the arse. They would of learnt things from yesterday 

and I’m sure the middlesex fa really couldn’t give a toss about the result. Why would they care ? What impact does it have on them??

How many insisting that we took the charity cup more seriously took it serious enough to make the effort to go to the game rather than just bash the keyboard telling others what should be done?
