As half of ESL players play Sunday morning football (dispite what they tell their clubs),how can it be insulting to say a team 'reminded me of a very good Sunday League outfit'.??

 

I've played with sunday league players, and against opposing Sunday sides that would cope very well in the ESL.

 

I played for the Sunday section of a team in the Herts senior for many years.At least 6 or 7 first teamers played in my Sunday side also.They reckoned the Herts senior and the Sunday premier was comparable in quality.

 

Sawbo reminded me of the quality sunday teams i've seen over the years,more than they reminded me of a step 3 or 4 non league side.

 

It was not meant as an insult,but i stand by that.

Refering to the antics of the Town bench is a bit much when the sawbo bench were as bad if not worse when shouting across the pitch the officials were Fing cheats and the whole team claiming every decision was theirs even when no Town players were anywhere near the ball.
