A big lie told by Roy in today's NLP

Recommended Posts

Non League Groundsman of the year award went to Roy Butler of Enfield Town FC for the season 2004 - 2005. Report in the NLP today!

The lie in the report was that he said ' now I spend all my spare time on the pitch'.

This is totally untrue as he spends 'all' his time developing the ground and the infrastructure at Brimmo.

If there is a problem, then Roy will sort it out. Working parties are lead by him and the works programme is on schedule for season 2005 - 2006. Need someone to tell you how deep the holes need to be, then Roy's your man. Whatever you do though, don't make the concrete look 'ginger'.

Well done Roy. You deserve it.

The problem for me is that May and june are the worst times for my hayfever and ten to twenty minutes outside is about my limit before my eyes and nose start to suffer.
