Whilst I will be lazing on a sunbed in the Med' on Saturday, I expect to receive a text from my source to say that ETFC beat AFC Hornchurch by 3 goals to 1 and that 561 attended the game.

 

What do others think? About the score and attendance and not me in the Med'!

i expect to get a text saying hornchurch have won 5-0

its a shame the match is this weekend as a few of us urchins(including myself) will miss the game as we are being dragged across england to spend time with our other halfs(i can say that on here as she only goes on the hornchurch forum)

another 3 weeks and there would be another 50-100 urchins in attendance!!!

Once read in Brian Cloughs autobiography that when manager of Hartlepool they could not afford Peter Taylor as his asistant so Cloughie employed him as the trainer, then during a match when someone went down injured Taylor would run on, throw some water over the injured limb and say "Get up"!

ah yes I see...my mistake for not being clearer...just wondered if my old sparring partner was there on saturday as we have yet to meet....
