So basically these people are good at sport because they were born in Essex? I see...

Thanks for winning the argument for me. It doesn't matter where West Ham are affliated and even if it does what the [****!!****] has someone being born somewhere got to do with it?

We never said we were the Arsenal of Non league football. We are fourth in the Conference, Arsenal are fourth in the Premiership. Two leagues below us you are 9th in your league, Trammer are 9th two leagues below Arsenal. The poster, I've forgotten who it was, was simply saying us playing you is similar to Arsenal playing Tranmere.

Good luck for the rest of the season, after Saturday of course. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bounce.gif" alt="" />

We look forward to receiving the 'Arsenal of non-league football'and I hope your mini bus has enough room for a comfortable trip.

Didn't know you were playing Stevenage.

There will be enough of us there don't worry.

I'm sure if it was played at our ground you'd bring 3-400...

Essex has produced-Moore,Greaves,Peters,Ramsey,Gooch,Hussain,Lennox Lewis,Bailey,Hoddle,Benn,Adams, etc etc etc...
While Kent err Colin Cowdrey,Godfrey Evans and err that other bloke.

OK....for your Essex cricketers, I could counter with Kent cricketers who have played for England and also those who have captained the test side...but I can't be bothered to look them all up !

As for the jibe about the mini bus....if you bothered to look at your own forum ( assuming that you are a Chelmsford supporter ?) then you will see that I have commented on this.

As for who you are, I couldn't really give a sh*t !!

Regards,

A bit before my time Buster.

We were ( and they are still going today ) a sort of Phoenix Fleetway really, as the official works side had folded and we were asked to play under the Fleetway banner, having rented the pitch at Harmsworth under our previous name of Springfleet.

Anyway, I could go on for ages on this topic, but Harry would tell me off for improper use of the GNFC forum !!

Cheers,

Loved the large pitch the up down one, the smaller one at the top I was never to keen on,was a quick walk to the bar about ten paces from changing room to bar I reckon
