New one. Clean slate have bought or are buying Ampthills ground. Apparently they have plenty of dough and are paying players. Anyone heard anything about this? Ampthill will have to pay rent if they wish to continue I am told...... If this proves to be true.

If they are paying any of their current players then I'm coming out of retirement.

Would you have to join their church though? Haha

They play in the National Christian Cup, the requirements of which are: 1. A Club which is Church-based / Christian organisation-based and fully approved by its leadership, and 2. A Club that only appoints Christians to its Directional Leadership: Chairman / General Manager and Team Manager / Coach.

Rumour has it that Norwich U21's are sending a side down  to SJP on the 26th May for a friendly against Edgware....Not sure who that is going to benefit though...

Does this end the Hale Leys rumour that they were taking over at Aylesbury?

http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/aylesburyfc/news/lease-extension-agreed-1430477.html#.VVhU5QQH1U9.twitter

Who knows..... I always thought it was an odd rumour since Aylesbury FC don't own the ground and why would council sell it. Seemed like if there was any truth in hale keys wanting to go there perhaps people at both clubs were working an angle that got round groundshare rule and benefited FC financially.
