Somehow I think they may be treating their Tuesday night with Bletchley Town as the more important fixture.

 

 

Looks like I'm wrong, according to their website which shows squads for both games it appears the stronger side will be fielded on Wednesday evening.

As a bit of fun folks we could predict how many Royston will score on aggregate against Bletchley Town this evening and Cambridge University Press tomorrow night, my guess is eight tonight and nine tomorrow, any advances on seventeen

It could be closer than expected - there are a few youth team and reserve players in the squad. Should be interesting.

Tuesday evenings game will be tighter as already suggested however if the first team play like they did on Saturday then CUP may well leave Garden Walk with a win. Royston will need to step up a gear after that performance.

 

Mr Rhodes.... eight and nine goals is not going to happen..... wake up! : )

11': Great run from Paul Insley sets up Adam Hallissey for shot which the keeper turns onto the post.

GOAL 27': Lev 0 HAT 1. Cross from left finds Terry Caswell, who swivels onto it and shoots home.

39': Levy denied again by keeper Sam Lacey, who saves a shot from Ben Butler.

 

(Hertford Town v Hadley)

Bright start by Hertford winning corner in the first minute. But straight up other end and Hadley hit post with a free kick.

GOAL. Hertford 1 Hadley 0. 14 mins. Great run by Roberts down the left. Dangerous cross and turned home by a defender. My sincere apologies to debut man Bangura, it was him who got the touch for the goal.

Goal. Hertford 1 Hadley 1. 21 mins.

Into injury time and another chance for Bangura. Well saved by the Hadley keeper.
