Welwyn Garden City look a very very useful outfit this season - a 3-0 win today over London lions was earned with a very direct forceful and pacy fist half display that London Lions simply could not get to grips with. The two wingers are useful and caused havoc in possession. Their keeper talks all game long and does not spill anything....It will be a good side that beats them.....

Really pleased with our result against Risborough Reserves. We've taken some heavy defeats recently and it was good to finally have a good defensive display. Things taking shape got a very young side probably lacking a couple of experienced players at this level. Now getting some of the youth side we have linked up with involved who have done really well. Shame no game for a few weeks now, but does mean I'll get to watch the first team for a few games.

Karen.

Looks likes you escaped the recent wet weather quite well. One postponed  -  one abandoned because of fog.

Seems we lost two through our two CoCo divisions because of water laying on the pitch, and we have had some fair amount of rain over the past few days.

Was the third choice goalkeeper today - first choice out for 6 weeks and back up was with the reserves.

Maybe a delve into the transfer market

2nd December you have to fancy getting a point

I'm sure they will have to fancy a point or three. I hear we really aren't that bad, can't get a settled team out so no consistency other than consistently being beaten before some clever c/nt makes that joke :-)

NBSP will play at home to Buckingham Town in the Berks & Bucks FA Cup 4th round; if Pitstone & Ivinghoe win the postponed 3rd round tie at Marlow United, they'll be away to Penn & Tylers Green.

Penn and Tyler I used to love their magic shows hahahaha

Saw the second half of Totternhoe 1-5 Brimsdown yesterday. Quite impressed with the visitors who played some nice football and attacked with real pace from 3 or 4 players that Totts couldn't cope with. Could have been with a penalty saved & better finishing

Yet again the Premier shows what a season it will be. Bang in form Hertford drop 2 points at lowly Stotfold. Sun score 2 late goals and our game against Hadley was not a walk in the park, as Hadley were mightly impressive as played 60 minutes with 10 men. Stand out result from Kings Langley though, tough place to go is Oxhey and score 5 and makes it 5 wins on the bounce. Berko also bounce back.

I tip my hat to the Stotfold 'keeper for yesterday's MOTM performance.

More goalmouth scrambles than you could shake a stick at, no chance for Leigh's well placed headed goal but saved a pen from our "Mr Reliable" at 1-0 with a few mins to go.

Definitely 2 points dropped there & disappointed with the decision to take off all our attacking threats towards the end which just gave Stotfold the confidence to pour forward and equalise with just seconds remaining.

Should be putting these teams to the sword before shutting up shop!
