Nathan guided Boro to promotion to the Spartan League Premier Division last season and signs were positive this season with the club sitting ninth in the table. However, they will now go into tomorrow's big FA Vase tie at home against Greenhouse Sports without Nathan at the helm after today's developments. The club's director of football, Graham Dodd, said in a statement: "FC Broxbourne Borough announce that first team manager Micky Nathan has this morning been relieved of his duties. The club is not prepared to make any further comment at this stage."Assistant Frank Piazza and club captain Mark Brennan will take the team for the home FA Vase match on Saturday and the home league game on Tuesday, after which the club will review its options moving forward."
