Several of the best players will invariably follow him.

Bit of a jump in standard, shouldn't think he'd want too many - Scannell, Nash possibly, but that's about it

The elephant in the room is that Hornchurch are now on the lookout for a new manager and may be looking to appoint someone from within our league.

Very much doubt any will suddenly be moving to a full-time professional club.

I think it’s very unlikely that any of our players will be going up 3 divisions in one go, particularly bearing in mind where Sutton is as Morro will need to have an immediate impact. As for the manager, I think the board are still dealing with the fallout from this. Let’s see what happens , might make the rest of the season interesting for all of us

On the face of it I'd be a little surprised if Gavin was interested in the Hornchurch job. It would be very very different to either The Met or ETFC in terms of budget and expectations. Whoever takes the job will be expected to secure promotion - probably via winning the league - and if they don't do so then they're likely to be out of a job come the end of the season.

Does that mean the Enfield Town manager is in with a shout.

Start getting worried Townies. You're man could be  about to be headhunted 😁

Albs, I suggest you focus on far more pressing issues - such as which Step 4 Isthmian League you'll be playing in next season!
