Quite right Happy (wonders will never cease! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />)

The point about songs is a valid one though. Surely the players would rather hear you cheering them on rather than indulging in factional competitive singing between each other? I could see the reasoning in a provincial town that had both league and a non-league clubs, or a league club in the nearest town (say Gravesend and Gillingham for an example) - you might want to have a bit of banter at the supposedly senior club's expense - but not for 90 minutes.

But having said that, as someone else said nearly everone supports a pro club as well, so most people "take an interest" in Prem scores - many people have little radios with them, or nip in to the bar to look at the telly for the half times and full times. Nothing wrong wih that!

Nothing wrong with supporting a pro side, I do, but keep it out of the Town game and keep it to yourself.

I see we got the cerlery out today then and gave it a good thrashing. Come to that we gave the tune to Goldsdown Road a good thrashing too! I thought Southport Towner could sing better than that?

the "Wailing" in the second half wasn't me it was "LARGE PORTIONS"

LS has gone very quiet on this subject; and has not come up with one positive suggestin!
