A tad chilly...but not as cold as the legendary Harlow match a few seasons back!

That was my first ever Urchins game....we lost 1-0 and it was truly freezing, unless I'm mistaken.

i think the harlow game was a cup tie which went to extra time and penalties.

 

i don't think either sets of supporters or players even cared about the shootout as it was so fckn freezing!

 

the celebration was similar to switzerland qualifying for the world cup, albeit without the handbags. everyone sprinted into the changing room.

 

my feet are still numb from that game.

he's referring to the division 1 Nth league game I think TB...freezing cold tuesday night when we lost 1-0 and all our highly paid pansies didn't fancy it one bit....mick marsden was in charge at the time....harlow brought 10 fans with them and one of them had an air raid siren..(yup...a reall ww2 job)... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

all the neighbours complained to the council the next day...

 

the other game against them which we lost on pens was a bryco cup affair under georgie boy...

I was at that game. Not only was I bloody frozen but I was rather worried about missing the train home. I ended up getting back to Canvey at 11.30pm after nearly being stranded at Pitsea.
