What a poxy ground.

Pitch about a mile from the stand,No Bar,No Burgers and No Coffee. The one plus point was i did not have to pay.I did not deliberately avoid paying ,parked in the sports centre like a few others and walked through a open gate into the ground, but they were collecting entrance fee at a gate on the other side of the ground;should be interesting what the official gate was tonight.

The view of half the pitch was obstructed by the dugouts and a long shed thing.

Walked round the other side and stood 20 yards from the pitch, but still some jobs worth came over and said we had to stand 100 yards away behind the barrier.

Samosas were nice, but left you wanting a beer even more.

Billy Drake beat the offside on three occasions, but the geriatric Lino on the far side couldn’t keep up with play and flagged him every time.

Nice of the Ref to give us 10 minutes extra time to try and get the winner.

Nice people but glad we don’t have to go back there.

first drop of the vino touched me throat at 11pm when I got home...

really was a strange place I tell ya....I was late and walked thru a hole in the fence past a ramshackled chinese type garden down a long dark ginnel and there was a terrible smell around the place...don't know what it was....a dog tethered in the garden of the house next door to the chinese garden feverishly barked at me as I entered...I think it was warning me not to go in...

and the pitch was at least 60 yards away from the stand...(view blocked off by the strange roofless garden shed type duggouts)..icy and foggy with a strong swirling wind and I stood there.... lit a fag (with a plastic lighter) and thought..

what the fck am I doing here...

the best bit was the big stand...I arrived and scanned the 'seating arrangements' to ascertain the number of urchins and couldn't believe there were over 150 of us there....

fck me...the things we do for footie eh..

crumpled horn....hmmm...sensible...

I decided to do a "Dangler" in the second half and go to the other side where the view was unobstructed.

Tried me luck in the long jump but the pole vault was no good cos there was no bar there!

The Grandstand a bit dangerous as no bannisters to hold on to.

I thought the attendance about 200 but could be wrong.

The officials? Well my unfavourite subject, linos couldn't keep up with play, ref never left the centre circle.

I thought we stepped up a gear when Dan and Nick came on and should really have won but maybe it was a bit after the Lord Mayor's show.

Let's now get behind the lads for Sat and Tues when we should see some decent football.
