Brentwood it is then....

Calm down! I Know your not! There are toilets in the ground believe it or not, they are in the changing room block round the back. Trouble was at the start of the season they were vandalised and out of use. They are all fully working now (and reasonably clean!), the small tea bar also round the back I must admit needs some TLC but we have plans to make amends over the coming weeks. I think you may be pleasantly surprised if you popped over....anyway when the blazers decide I'll get the wine in then.........

PS We wouldnt cram them in...I would tell them all to spread out and pray it doesnt rain! Mind you the seats would be full up, that would be a first!

Crowded Seats!

To clarify what I wrote about the Burnham pitch - yes, it was sandy in parts and bumpy, but the real problem was the gale force wind sweeping down the pitch. Not too bad in the first half when Burnham had it in their favour, but the driving rain in the second half definitely influenced the result, and in particular the winning goal, when the free kick from about 40 yards was hammered against the underside of the bar, and rebounded back in off the keeper's head.

Definitely a gale and rain assisted goal. I thought that Burnham were the better side overall, but Brentwood took full advantage of the weather conditions to win the match.

For the record, they had about ten supporters there = I only noticed them when I moved around to the stand (we were behind the goal until the monsoon started and did not really notice the crowd).

My own preference for the final would have been Burnham, though I am not complaining that Brentwood got through - they took their chances, and Burnham did not.

As for the final venue I don't really care where it is - my own choice would be WA, as I am told they have put a lot of effort into improving their ground.

My second choice would be Hullbridge - no reason, I just like the place.

Was it me or did the match report from Dagger suggest that the Burnham pitch was in a mess? Come on BN1, get it sorted for the final eh?

What can BN1 do to get the pitch sorted Mitch?!

The pitch isn't great, bit sandy through the centre and towards the tunnel, but apart from the pitch isn't in bad condition at all

Should be a great leveller for the final...

Seriously? I was sinking on the line!!!!

Oh bollox to the lot of ya...

I forgot to add in my 'Kaiser Sarcasm' at the end of my previous post...

The officials were good... No complaints at all. I shook all their hands afterwards as a testament to that...

Your so boring Mitch...

Not many players actually do go shake the hands of the officials, as generally they are disgusted with them. You Urchins discuss on here every week about sh*t the standard of officals are, so you no the score...

We had just lost a Cup Semi Final, so I could have easily just walked straight into the changing rooms. But I didnt...

I wasn't making a statement that what I did makes me a hero, just purely saying what I did... thanks.

Perry was cup-tied. We would never so stupid to play an ineligible player
