in all honesty i would take a 1-0 win as 3 points is the most important thing but it would be nice for our strikers to bang in a few goals against a side that must be very very low in confidence and that looks like getting relegated by februarY!!

It seems to be a competition at the moment in how many goals you can score past Leyton. Just make sure you get the three points and worry about how many goals you score later.

We've had that this season with both Wivenhoe and Ilford who are truly awful and you almost feel dissapointed if you don't rack up a cricket score against them.

Wivenhoe were a decent side when I watched them play Maldon earlier in the season. First half they were good and 1-0 up HT, but second half Maldon took control and won 1-2. Wivenhoe only need one win I feel to boost confidence and they can get themselves out of trouble.

Wivenhoe's problem is a lack of stability. They seem to have a different set of players each week.

 

They were a good side a few seasons back but because of financial problems they lost alot of their better players.
