The Saunders clan are out in force, we're looking forward to it.

 

I've got a sneaky feeling we're going to win tomorrow. I hope Shakes will be back. I also think it's going to rain the whole way through!

I like the trip to Forest Green, been there for past two seasons and its a nice, friendly place to visit.

 

I've gone for a two nil win, think we may just have the edge over Forest Green, and if Ricky Shakes returns... superb.

 

Just hope the rain don't put a stop to proceedings, though nothings been said. There's been flooding in Gloucestershire, but on the other side of the River Severn, so we should be alright.

Forest Green have phoned to say there is no danger of it being rained off - just haven't been in a position to stick it on the website yet so spread the word!!

I'm going. It cannot be as wet as the under 21's match was this evening. We had brilliant seats next to the Portuguese bench but the weather kind of spoiled it.

I was at the U21 game as well - certainly was wet - I moved my kids and me further up the stand for the 2nd half though.

 

Portugal looked good for 40 minutes, but England edged into it in the last 5 minutes of the 1st half and the result wasnt really in doubt after we scored.

 

God luck to the boys this afternoon.

That almost certainly will be the starting XI.
Liam has already shown that players returning from injury seldom jump straight back in, especially when they have to replace an incumbent playing well.
Having said that, Purcell has played well and certainly deserves a place on the bench. If Long were not such a classy player with his abilty to create a goal or score from nowhere , his place could be in jeopardy, given his performances of late haven't hit his usual heights.
Will be tough game. A draw would be respectable.
