Prem Religation Battle

Recommended Posts

With out doubt the religation battle in the Prem is the most exciting part of this Season thats still left to run its course.

All 3 top finishing teams in Div 1 will go up this year for a change (so no Dorking get out of jail card available lol).

Guildford will now take some catching and are as good as champions so the dogfight at the bottom is where all the action is.

My club Mole Valley Sutton Cobham Rangers (as the boring/repeating TSF likes to call them) are favourites to go down and hold the table up as we have been bottom since the 1st month of the season lol.

But who do you think will be joining us? as there are still 5 or 6 teams in the mix.

Whos your predicted bottom 3? :)

The number of teams going down isn't just dependent on teams available to go up. It is perfectly feasible that only 2 go down but 3 come up, for example if no team is relegated to CCL from Step 4, or assigned by FA. On the other hand it is also perfectly feasible that 3 go down and only 2 come up.

Bottom 3 for me: MVSCR, Banstead & Farnham

I think by Sunday we will know if Dorking will stay up.

Not because of two results but just by looking at what players are available/selected, and how they perform.

Get those two games out of the way, see who is up for the run in, and we have games against quite a few of those around the bottom of the league which will decide it.

Well said!

As long as your managers are left alone to deal with squad matters, Croydon will flourish next year.................plus the added bonus of the shambles at The Crematorium you should have an abundance of new players pre season.

Poss to 10 finish this year, poss higher 2012/13.

frustin,frustin,frustin!!!!

I cant see MVSCR Legend doing the same?Surely not?

Talk about throwing in the towel!!!!

A fine example of "faith"!!! Only joking, mission impossible for SCR....a little too late.

One massive shining light at least you wont have to go to Guernsey, get battered and then have it rammed down your throats!!

Straight back up next season.

Badshot look safe.Woods could be dragged into it.All depends on the others results.DFC,new management usually lights up an unbeaten 3/4 game run.The teams above SCR know exactly what to do,it all depends on the teams above them,as seen by some crazy results already ,some just playing the season out and of course the obvious ,"unbelievably bad officials" they will enforce the bad decisions that will relegate a team and not bat an eyelid................................ ;)

Rufus you have got me all wrong I havent given up at all I just know its a mountain task to get out of trouble as we are not just relying on us winning but also others losing.

Trust me when I say we will fight for every point in every remaining game untill its mathematically impossible to stay up.

All I will say is I do feel that we do now have a squad that capable of winning some of the remaining games and I know its easy to say but if we had this squad earlier in the season we would be sitting comfortably middle table.

If we do manage to sneak out of trouble at the death then it will be one of the most amazing turn-arounds ever.

Everybody fights nobody quits :)

No I am not. We have 11 games left - that table says 10???

Table on official website appears to have has us as beating Hanworth 2-1.

We lost 1-4 at home and still to play them away!

I put this same question out yesterday evening, but Tracy (Chairperson of Molesey) said that it was confirmed last night that three will go down.

I didn't understand it myself as surely there will be yet another Step Four reprieve, which would mean that unless someone transfers over there will only be two teams dropping. However Tracy referred to a meeting on Monday so maybe something else has happened that the general public don't yet know about?

Hmmm! I think a lot depends on what happens at Portsmouth first.

And, don't forget, clubs could be demoted based on their facilities still!!!
