Maidenhead away to Southend tonight has been postponed due to a positive covid case in the Maidenhead camp.

The match is now being played next Tuesday 7th December.

What one would call a six pointer :-

20

Southend United

  16 4 2 10 13 25 -12 14
21 Maidenhead United 16 4 2 10 18 33 -15 14

This match could also decide the future of Mr Devonshire.

Not wishing M'head any bad luck but it would be good to have another local derby next season.

We’ve been getting around 600 so far and with it being close to Christmas and cold, 526 is around what I expected. Hopefully if we can keep our recent league form then we’ll see some larger crowds over the Christmas period.

It seems as though Dulwich Hamlet have a new ground capacity of 3,334 at Champion Hill as that was the crowd stated against Ebbsfleet United on Saturday as well as against Bath Ciy on 13th November.

Eventful game at Farnborough v Merthyr today.

Farnborough were losing 2-0 but eventually won 3-2 with an 93rd minute winner coming from ex rebel Paul Hodges.

The game was marred when fighting broke out in the crowd at the final whistle.

In the other game at the top, U As' lost 2-1 at home to Met Police.

"Farnborough looked very shaky for the majority of the first half."

So it wasn't just Rebels who played like that in the first half on Saturday.

The crowd was 506 according to the match report on the Farnborough FC website.

It is thought that around 50 were involved in a pitch invasion after Farnborough won 3-2 after scoring the winner in time added on. Fighting and disorder then broke out and fights broke out in the car park as people left the stadium.

Three men were arrested and taken into police custody.

Three people were taken to Frimley Park Hospital with injuries requiring treatment.

Strangely nothing on the Farnborough web site, twitter feed, facebook or their forum about the signing of Jack Turner.

Ah you didn’t delve deep enough… shame on you!

Possibly his work contract in Kent has come to an end?

Yes I do remember work being in the Kent area but only for a certain period of time. Still Farnborough isn’t exactly near to his new home. But I guess options are limited nearby.

Paul Hodges with another goal for Farnborough who were 2-0 down  but drew 2-2 late on  Attendance 134

I was thinking what a low attendance against a high flying team until I looked at some of their gates this season which have been as low as 64 and 85. Must be down to playing in Plymouth.
