Savagebee
Bedfont & Feltham 1 Southall 0 Southall had a good 10 chances to score but they could not get the ball in the back of the net which has been the problem for Southall FC for the last year or so. Southall FC need a 20 to 30 goals a season striker if they want to get promoted next season but yes they are hard to find these days. Southall were by far the better team yesterday in my opinion and the Bedfont & Feltham goal came totally against the run of play. Southall try to play football in the right way but they need to score more goals if they want to finish in the top six this season. Nice to still see D.Cassells between the sticks and he couldn't have done much about the goal. No C.Barrett, C.Stewart or R.Baptiste for Southall yesterday and they missed them. Maybe Southall should try to get C.Vanterpool back at the club as I see he is now at Bedfont & Feltham but he didn't play yesterday. Bedfont & Feltham FC have some decent players in there squad this season and should be higher in the league in my opinion. J.Busby, L.Graig, J.Lambe, J.Ward, M.Ward and K.Andrews are all decent players and with the no nonsense Ward brothers at the back any keeper will feel safe Also a decent little programme by Bedfont & Feltham FC good luck to them in the next round. Out of the local pitches in West London those two seem to cope best with bad weather. Do they have any drainage under the pitch?

Redrup No2
Like playing a friendly Friday night just before out game on Saturday!! Cheers Ashford!!
lazarus
Ashford do have quite a sophisticated drainage system which was put in some ten years ago when the pitch was completely re-laid. Bearing in mind that the pitch is also on gravel, it does mean that there are very few matches postponed as a result of waterlogging, There is also a sprinkler system but it is ponderous compared to more modern systems, in that the very large hose has to be towed out and then allowed to distribute water as it rolls back very slowly under its own steam. I understand it takes about 3 hours to completely roll back and that only does half of the pitch, so it's a six hour job to water it fully. Not really a problem just at the moment though! I am sure that Liam, Steve and the others will have the pitch more than fit for play on Saturday. The opportunity for the Brentford match wasn't one that could easily be turned down. Pitbull
I will reply on behalf of Lazerus £5 is correct with £3 for concessions and under 16 free. We hope to see a few at the game .

Many thanks for the info. When Hanwell Town's games get called off I always look to see if Bedfont & Feltham or Ashford Town are at home because more than often they will still be on when Hanwell's game has been called off due to bad weather. That's a decent friendly for Ashford Town this Friday they should get a few through the gate and a £5 entrance fee is good value.
Rother
And a pleasant change from the ridiculous £8 they charge for CCL, before hard-sell accosting everyone coming through the turnstiles to buy lottery tickets.

When you say hardselling, are they actually hardselling or just asking you if you'd like to purchase one? I never hound anyone, but politely ask if they'd like to contribute to the clubs ongoing finance needs, hardly pushing it. No help from fans = no football club
BAD GUY
When you say hardselling, are they actually hardselling or just asking you if you'd like to purchase one? I never hound anyone, but politely ask if they'd like to contribute to the clubs ongoing finance needs, hardly pushing it. No help from fans = no football club I have to say in fairness, that £8.00 is the most I have paid for CCL Premier game which are usually £6.00. The Ryman and Southern league games I've watched, although not many, charged £8.00 ! So is there a fixed ruling about entrance fees within the CCL ? Can any CCL club charge what they want ? Not complaining over the extra 2 quid, but that could have brought me a hot dog...ha ha 1!!
Big J R
I believe CCL clubs can charge what they deem fit for League games. It can be different when cup games, etc., are being played. Alan ??

Krooner
Don't see what the problem is. If I don't like the price I don't pay it. I certainly do not pay it then moan about it afterwards !!! Actually still wondering why I gave that £2 last Saturday for Golden Goal. I almost got bullied into that
Rother
Yeah ok so I drive over to Ashford with a mate then at the turnstile, say fcuk it, you go through but I'm not paying that. Real practical. :-) Edited November 29, 2014 by Rother

One club charging 1/3rd more than almost everyone else is a little OTT. Although I suppose if Windsor did it we might be able to pay the players as well. Frankly, there IS no right price, the people who pay or don't pay decide that. I think if someone is charging more it's easy to forget we're only talking about £8 and however loosely you use the term, you're still getting entertainment. Yes I'm sure £8 is more than many, but everyone can either pay it or decide not to. In the grand scheme of things it really doesn't seem worth getting irate or upset about. Maybe we should have a Scrooge fund for those who love to start sentences with "In my day..." and scare old ladies by screaming "HOW MUCH?" in the biscuit aisle, when Asda puts two pence on the price of their favourites.
