E&E Rich
The match preview for our game at Guildford City is here: http://www.eefconline.co.uk/LCN132.html It drains well at the Spectrum as a rule so fingers crossed we get to play still. Epsom & Ewell have NEVER won on the 29th November in our entire Senior history dating back to 1924. No other date is as bad for us.

Big J R
Dorking v Cobham POSTPONED Do I take it that Cobham have withdrawn due to their current situation then, Chris ? Our 'Under 18's' are due to play at The New Defence tonight. No cancellation as yet on the DFC web-site. Big J R
It's a strange old world. I have no idea if Glynn and Steve have arranged anything 'special' for tomorrow,
Chris Clapham
Weird because Cobham played a friendly in the week away at Dorking Wanderers A team played at Dorking, not representative of Cobham FC in an official capacity! Big J R
You are as usual, a mine of information Chris. Thats exactly what I heard in my local wartering-hole yesterday afternoon, along with another huge load of interesting (?) local football gossip !! Krooner
Surely there will be no other games off in the league today with the weather being ok for the past 3 days (incl today) I would be mighty suspicious if games are called off. Then you better be suspicious because Guildford City v Epsom & Ewell is off. There is a large section in one corner that is deep in mud. That is despite the Council groundsmen working on it on Thursday, Friday and today. It's a shame because everyone was looking forward to the first game under new management. lazarus
I am aware of the postponement of the Guildford City match but I am not aware of any other postponements other than Dorking v Cobham which was called off earlier, so presumably all others on. No further updates as off to Cove v Spelthorne.

Smudge
Banstead 0 v 3 Farleigh Rovers Means Cove and Farleigh stay top of their respective Divisions.Knaphill get a valuable 3 points in the relegation dogfight.whereas Hanworth Vila lose a 2-0 lead at half time,to still prop up the Prem. Big J R
Well done Peter. Seems the CCL web-site score up-date page is now a total waste of time. Still - With Dorking F.C. having no game yet again today, I decided to obey orders from 'Er Indoors', and managed to get the bathroom decorated at last. I could repeat a little anecdote about decorating, but then again, p'raps not !! Edited November 29, 2014 by Big J R
thevoiceofreason
Ash 1 Epsom Athletic 0 A goalkeeping 'moment' produced the match winning penalty in what was a decent game to watch. Proper football on a testing pitch between two sides giving their best and only getting a tad grumpy with each other late on. Sensibly refereed, both sides getting on with it and played on the stuff cows munch. That'll do for me, chaps Footy Mad

duncs
Camberley 3 Hartley 1,probably the right result but not for the purists,at least Hartley were trying to play a bit and at times passed Camberley off the park, but whatever i say about Cam they always seem to win,Hoof Hoof and more Hoof seems to be the way they do things if only they would play a bit more, the difference was Jamie Hoppitt with his direct running and never say die attitude he is a managers dream and i would have him in my team everytime,Hartley looked very weak in a lot of positions and as people were saying why is a good player at 26 trying to manage the team when he should be playing, it don't make sense to me he is way way to young to not play,if he was suffering from an injury that caused him to retire then maybe but i was 46 when i stopped playing(apart from the walking footy)and would love to still get out there. Redrup No2
Fair play to Mille, sandhurst look a lot better and organised now and to be honest I thought they were better than us today!!
Krooner
didn't watch much of the game today as I had to entertain Duncs but other than a 15 minute spell in the game I felt we looked fairly comfortable. What I will say is that I think the level of dissent has risen this season. Today though both sides got on with the game. Late tackles in the main were greeted with apologies and handshakes. Credit to both sides for this. Also our shaky defence conceded its 12th goal in 18 games Edited November 29, 2014 by Krooner
Neavsey11
Banstead 0-3 Farleigh Rovers, Henry, Burke and Cassim with the goals. Good win for us and thought Banstead didn't really do anything today. They never threatened us and believe Hounslow last week gave us more of a game. There best and really only chance was a pen at 0-0, questionable penalty at that. We go again Tuesday in the cup. Good luck to Banstead for the rest of the season.
