Saturday 2nd January Match Thread

Recommended Posts

Thanks to Maurice today for the lift to Camberley allowing me the opportunity to watch a second game in the CCL over the festive period.

Camberley deserved winners but another goal against in the 90th minute for Chessington. That's 7 in the last 9 I think . Unbelievable. However I am told they had nine first team regulars missing so all things considered they didn't look too bad.

I was just told it was a Cambo win 3-0

3-0 win for Camberley in difficult conditions.  Well done on all concerned for getting the game played and the same goes for Ashford too !!

Mind you the pitch looks in a right state !!

SCR 2-1 Hayes. Most enjoyable afternoon along with about 100 spectators.

Hayes keeper was superb, Gabbidon very good up top for Rovers again.

Apologies for no updates today from the League as I was away until today and didn't get back until early afternoon.  Many thanks to Chris  and everyone else for keeping everyone updated.

Just the three Premier Division matches played in the end.

Shouldn't take long to knock out this weekends bulletin then, Alan:ph34r:

Next the headache of re-scheduling and the weather over the last 24 hours certainly ain't going to help matters !!

Seriously Epsom off!!!

I thought someone said never off there!!!!!

First Saturday postponement for rain in the three and a half years we've been there. S**t happens. At least our game had a chance of being on.

Well done to all clubs who managed to get their games on this weekend.

I got to Sevenoaks Town which is due to have a 3g in there from next season. Doesn't need it, based on the amount of rain it dealt with this weekend.
