What absolute waffle about the colney heath game!! 4-0 down at half time games dead! The edgware captain then decided to headbutt a 17year old with 5 minutes to go. Then without fans being allowed in the game there was a FAN not sure who he was looked like he was wearing a swimming cap! shouting expletives as Colney Left the field! Let's not go on to mention the absolute shambolic playing surface which essentially in a trampoline!(Hendons fault i guess)  With the suggested sides entering the league Salamis, Lions and Pantamilion, then with giggleswade, Leighton, oxhey to name a few Edgeware will be lucky to be top half. just my humble opinion!!

Swimming cap ??? whoever it was I exchanged 'pleasantries' with is a embarrassment to your club!

Your team are thugs, awful advertisement for the SSML

I thought he was dead, he pipes back up posting a photo of myself with my hands on the SSML Premier title, fittingly as in half an hour we're very likely to bid farewell to the SSML!

GRS67 - I think you missed my post on another thread:

The 1995/96 Spartan League and South Midlands League campaigns saw St Margaretsbury win the Spartan League Premier Division Championship by two points from Hillingdon Borough and Arlesey Town retained the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division they had won the previous season with a record points haul when of course the Club also lifted the FA Vase at Wembley, winning 2-1 against Oxford City. Surprisingly the holders fell at the first hurdle of the FA Vase in 1995/96 at home to Kent League Division One Thamesmead Town and also exited the FA Cup early on to Sudbury Wanderers at their old Lamb Meadow ground. Lifting the Spartan League Premier Division Shield in 1995/96 still remains St Margaretsbury's highest honour in the Club's history although they almost emulated Arlesey Town the season before, finishing second to Croydon Athletic, clearly they had a very good team around that period including NeutralFan from this Forum. Both Arlesey Town and St Margaretsbury were founder members of the SSML two seasons later in 1997/98, Arlesey Town joining the Premier Division North and St Margaretsbury the Premier Division South:

Spartan League Premier Division - 1995/96

  1. St. Margaretsbury                30  18   7   5  51  29  61

Daily Dose - Thanks, and thanks also for bothering to post, I can't hold a candle to Karen where trivia and statistics are concerned, that's why she is so widely known as 'Motty', I wonder whether she owns a sheepskin coat.

Well, having hosted last night's fantastic Gladwish/SSML Spring 2021 Cup Final and commentated on the match I think we can certainly put to bed whether or not it was a great tournament that the SSML orgainsed.

Over 200 in attendance and a highly entertaining match that London Lions won 2-1 against Colney Heath.

My twitter account @deanobradford has all the action from last night.
