Barney
It was a good save, the keeper tipped it onto the post. I'll share some more ramblings when I get a bit more time (probably when I should be working on Monday), but a much better defensive performance, and a game that we probably should have won, with the best two chances (a Percy one on one, and the Mo penalty). Credit to Harrigey who defended well, and caused us a few problems on the counter, but I do feel with a better final ball, and slightly better decision making, we could have won that fairly comfortably. Quite a few positives though, we look fitter and sharper than we have done in the last few games, and the new additions look decent.
Rebel without a clue
Shock horror! We kept a clean sheet, we started strongly and should have been a couple of goals up inside 10 minutes the ball at times was just not falling for us around there box, Haringey we’re content to soak up pressure and hit us on the break they seem to be draw specialists at home and have only lost one home league game all season they are a very compact team and have some quick forwards, I did think our final ball was letting us down at times having got into decent positions the penalty was an unfortunate miss I’m sure if that had gone in we would have seen the game out, PK was my man of the match he was tireless throughout, in the end a draw was probably a fair result
Bottoms Up
Certainly a battle of wits between the two teams today. We should’ve won but failed to score for the 2nd time this season. Percy and Mo had golden opportunities to score against Harringeys none. Delleverde needs to up his game a bit, we have expectations of him much higher than his performances of late, he was very flat today
Rebel without a clue
Agree with bu regarding delle-verde I really rate him but his performance today was lacking he was rightly substituted in the second half
djwilf
Game of few chances. Think HB have gone backwards in the last couple of seasons but we found it difficult to break them down today. Possession game was stronger, we still look fragile when teams break on us and don't remember Nathan having many saves to make. Nice to see us not concede a hatful of chances and I'm sure they would have been pleased with a clean sheet. Ref was steady without having a great deal to do. Should have done better with the penalty. Hope we create more chances on Tuesday.
