they were doing a fair bit of fckn around with all the dying swan stuff but fair play to 'em.....having said that the 'lazy cow' has just told me that one of the swans actually did get a pretty bad black eye and I hope he is all right...

the lazy cow also says that she shall be spamming your company email system in the morning with several drunken posts that are attributed to you... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

abbeynut,i make you right i was standing with the burnham sexcase the last few minutes and the ref definatly didn't want to blow up,but what was strange was that burnham no1,fecked off into the night never to be seen again, the last i had heard he had been captured by greg tiffins love machine!!

>>he was holding up the code for the MOM the match award across the pitch for the announcer.

It certainly caught me out - I was trying to work out how they could put a number ten on in place of Tiffin, when they had already used their three subs.

Having heard about antelopes non stop all night, I also feel that away supporters should be banned forthwith, or confined to safari parks.

abbey, totally right with the 'fergie time' - westy went to the bar with about 30 seconds left, or so we thought. i think he was on his 3rd by the time i joined him.

agree with most of what has been said, stansted were good for their 3 points, well earned and no complaints from me, i even bloody applauded them off the pitch, which i do not do lightly, (as i am heavy, before you all say it).

their front two were quality and the management team had obviously done their homework.

this may sound arrogant, but i did find tonight's defeat rather refreshing & think that we needed to lose a game (if only to go back to 4-4-2... i am a bit of a footy purist...)

fair play again to stansted, polite and amiable visitors, not like the pillaging burnham midgets sniffing around...

off to the sewage works saturday, and if lightweight is correct, i hope my cold returns so i don't have to smell it.

up the urchins.

We played them twice last year and did not beat them.If you play 3-5-2 against them Merce just keeps wacking the ball in between your centre halfs and your wingbacks for the two forwards to get on the end of it.Simple but affective me thinks.

Have to agree with Tree here. The 3-4-3 just doesn't work. The back 3 seem confused as to where they're meant to be and I don't think the 3 front players work well together.

It was certainly one of those games, but a game that I felt we could have changed by tactically switching things about when at half time things patently weren't right.

As this is a forum perhaps I may be at liberty to suggest we revert to 4-4-2 bring back Golby to left back (no disrespect to Charlie Bull, but defence is not his forte) and leave out one of the central defenders. Bring Danny Cowley back to partner Luke (who's dead ball kicks were sorely missed in the 2nd half) stick Nicky out right, Tim back on the left and Dan and Bill back up front. It's a team that has brought us success this season so far, so why change?

We should have slaughtered Stansted, you could tell by their body language in the first half (up until their first christmas present) that they had no self belief.

I hope we can put this behind us, get back to playing to our strengths, rotate the team, where needed and get back to the solidity we've shown in earlier games. We'll face two tests in the next two games far sterner than Stansted could ever provide.

Nice chaps nonetheless and the guy shouting for the blues near the directors box was priceless.

Well done Stansted but don't expect any gifts the next time we play you. Christmas comes only once a year at the Bridge. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />

i would have to disagree there mitchurchin, i feel change could be needed as the performances have been a bit lacluster recently.

i think there are certain players just strutting about and not working as hard as others!!!

i like mitchurchin would go with the 4-4-2 however i would keep charlie on the left and drop luke longman put cowley and king in the middle!!!

but hey everyone has their own opinion.

fair comments but lets get it into perspective...we had 70% of the posession last night and at least 20 goal chances..

fair play to stansted ..they had 3 atempts and scored 2...both defensive errors and schoolboy ones at that...I also prefer 4-4-2 but the 3-4-3 formation workled against a main contender for the title on saturday and in my opinion (now I have had a chance to cogitate on the events of last evening) worked well enough last night..

saturday we kept a midfielder in a holding position and didn't concede...last night we gambled on getting a goal tally and came unstuck...it happens but last night we could have easily have scored 6/7 goals....

I'd play 4-4-2 it allows the wingers to the job they should and that's attack, a midfield of Tim D.Cowley N.Cowley and Charlie
and Defence of P.Golby G.Golby S.King Tiffs.

Some players need a kick up the proverbial !

so you'd bomb bostock!!!

Now we thought one of them was you! Quite a mixture of clubs then all in one space, wonder how that works! Mind you we did a quick exit too, didnt want our ex-players to think we had a giggle...which is only natural don't you think!

its called uncle time at the bridge...and I must confess I was at him and the lino big style at the end but they were time wasting aplenty....a butterfly bumped into their RB near the end and he fell on the floor like a dead pigeon.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

as you all know...we at the bridge do not indulge in gamesmanship at all.....very unfair... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
