Yugow - I'm glad we are agreed on that, what I couldn't understand at the time was why Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio didn't both win male and female Leading Role Oscars, the film won everything else and they must have both felt hard done by, I would have even given Billy Zane an Oscar for Actor in a Supporting Role.

Did you go and see the 3d remake?

The Blues Brothers is a favourite, as is Stripes, Ghostbusters and the Bourne films.

Bourne Identity was on last night.

First time I've seen it, AND in surround-sound.

I was quite impressed !

You were obviously watching TV last night Rhodsey, as was I.

Not a classic film, but I watched Tommy Lee Jones in 'The Electric Mist'.

I'm a GREAT fan of TLJ, but had never seen this film, and thought it was fantastic, and very thought provoking.

Quite an eclectic taste there... maybe you're a future Mark Kermode?

What about bits of films as some are only remembered for one particular scene aren't they such as 'When Harry Met Sally' for example and

'Deliverance' with Jon Voight and Burt Reynolds

Certainly NOT in a best-film category, but did anyone stay up to watch that eastern bloc film the other night ?

I think it was called 'Taxidermia'.

Now that HAS to be one of the sickest films of all time !

I have no problem with pornography/violence, but this film abused the privelidge !

A sequel to Twin Town is being talked about at the moment, with Rhys and Llyr Efans reprising their roles.

I watched it on DVD a few nights back - sad that Brian Hibbard (Dai Rees in Twin Town) has since passed on.

Why on earth should i wish to be a future Mark 'pissyknickers' 'Kermode? He is a copahanta { a sycophantic} if you dont understand the meaning. Kermode is a fool born, with a fools face. His favourite film genre is video nasties. Hes a feminist, a vegetarian and church goer. Edited by Pink Panther

Actually I quite like Mark Kemode, he knocks spots off the likes of Barry Norman, Jonathan Ross and Claudia Winkleman as a film reviewer

Barry Norman, quite rightly, is a legend - very few can touch him.

The other two.... well Jonathan Ross has the appeal of a dung beetle, and as for Claudia Winkleman... I've had more pleasure passing kidney stones than watching her on the gogglebox.

A sequel  wow that would be interesting with most of the cast killed of in the first film.
