Some of my highlights from our first season in the Combined Counties League:

Best Ground - Eversley

Best Clubhouse - Hartley

Best Pitch - Knaphill

Best Opposition - Worcester Park (away) Lammas (home)

Best Player - Ray Spence or against us warligham midfielder not sure his name

Best Result - 5-2 away win against Mole Valley SCR and Knaphill should have been alot more in both games.

Best Moment of the Season - Not many to choose from maybe hammering C&H in the cup or maybe our comback against Croydon M two goals in the last 5 minutes.

Worst Moment -In a game we dominated- Matt Bakers (Knaphill) free kick in last few minutes which I think killed our season.

Best moments of the season. There have been so many as a new Recruit to C.C.L.

1. Finding this excellent site.

2. Visiting many new Grounds and meeting new and Old Friends,Krooner,B.J.R.,Teflon,.V.P.CTFC,Brunty,Lightning McQueen,Spy,Footy Mad,In the Know,Lensmeister,Danielpjn,Hartley Hare, and a special Mention to all at Hartley Witney,Coulsdon,Eversley, for making my day special with there excellent hospitality, the nicest group of people you will meet in Non League. So Luke,Bob and Dot,Daniel,THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

3.Getting to know a couple of Refs.Lewis Gordon,Peter Critchlow,a couple of characters that epitomise all Non League, they do have a chat, they do explain their decisions, and they do stay for a beer or Two after the games. And they do put their hands in their pockets to buy you a beer.GREAT GUYS

4.Running 2 Competitions that actually finished and built up a good bit of Banter, and controversy, well done T.C. and Nice Guy.

Worst Moments.

1. Not converting enough of the Guys on here to sign up as Gold Members, even though many said they would.

2. Only seeing one C.C.L. Official at Camberley, all season,it is your League after all ,you need to get out and about a little more.

3. The Season finishing, what am I going to do now.

Best Ground: Bedfont Sports (new building)

Best Clubhouse: Hartley

Best Pitch: Eversley

Best Opposition: Eversley (Away) WP (Home)

Best Player: Bedfont Sports winger, no.11

Best Result: 12 - 0 Vs Feltham - Just cos it was mentioned on Sky Sports.

Best Moment of the Season: Must win game to keep up with WP, 2-0 down against Westfield, 10 minutes to go. Ran out 3-2 Winners thanks to a last minute winner from Pagey.

Smudgey you know I have said it just never on a public forum !!!!

Mine are from both reffing and watching

Best Gound - Did Bedfont Sports twice and the difference was superb so going to go for them.

Best Clubhouse - Difficult one but I always like going to Westfield due to the very friendly welcome I always get afterwards not matter how poor I have been. Looking forward to their new place.

Best Pitch - Officiated at Farnborough but going to go for Bedfont Sports first time around but a note for Hartley Wintney who have done wonders over the last couple of season on theirs.

Best Oppo - Ha Ha great one this. Ok going for Croydon when I did the line cos had great banter with their skipper.

Best Player - Have to say O'Regan for Chertsey but I was also impressed with Tarpey at Chertsey having seen him 3 times. CB at Egham too. Jack ?. In Div 1 the foreign guy up front for Bedfont Sports and the young CB at South Park

Best Result - Having a great chat with Smudgey :)

Best Moment of the Season - Tough one this but probably Butts shanking the ball when trying to give it to the Oppo keeper and Camberley GK Coach falling over at Chertsey when kicking a ball onto the pitch. Both highly amusing.

Worst Moment - Missing a certain incident in a game.

Hopes for next season

More dialogue between managers, coaches, players and officials and 3 up and 3 down for the Prem division.

Best Ground - Farnborough (Badshot Lea)

Best Clubhouse Beer - Gale's Seafarers at Camberley. Sadly the proper beer at Horley wasn't on when we played there this season. A few clubs do good bottled beer but you can't beat a hand-pulled.

Best Pitch - pitches are over-rated. George Best could play some of the best football ever seen on mud. Players expect too much for our level of football.

Best Opposition - Chertsey.

Best Player - Pass - I don't take any notice of the player's names of the other team.

Best Result - Beating Chertsey 3-1 at home.

Best Moment of the Season - Being served the biggest portion of chips I've ever seen at a football ground at South Park. Worst moment of the season was smothering them in chilli sauce which was hotter than I thought it would be. If only I'd gone for the mayonnaise.
