Adam Martin must have achieved some sort of record at Slough having joined us on 4 separate occasions from 2010 to 2014.

He was 23 when he first joined under Steve Bateman.

He is 33 today 18th March.

After seeing his brief cameo in ‘Come Fly With Me’ I wonder if his ‘acting’ career ever took off!

Looking forward to another trip to the seaside next season, providing we are still in the NLS, with Worthing 10 points clear at the top.

The last time we played at Worthing was in 2005, the score was 1-4 in the last game of the season on a hot day with Matt Seedel scoring a hat-trick.

Not quite right RR. We played there in 2006 and had 4 players (including 2 unused subs) sent off! They were the only side not to beat us that year as I remember.

You're right Nathan.

That season has got to be the worst Rebels side ever.

We were beaten 9-0 by Wimbledon and 8-0 by Bromley.

We did manage to win 3 league games against Harrow, Billericay and Heybridge Swifts.

Interesting to note that the crowd at that match at Woodside Road on 18th November 2006 was 394.

During February and March 2022, Worthing have attracted a number of four-figure Isthmian League Premier crowds :-

  5th February : 1,129 Worthing 6 Wingate and Finchley 0
26th February : 1,532 Worthing 3 Enfield Town 0
  5th March : 2,347 Lewes 1 Worthing 2
12th March : 1,400 Worthing 2 Margate 0
