2014/15 Pre Season Friendlies

And this despite Dennison (keeper) being sent off after circa 20 mins of 2nd half and no reserve keeper on bench.

Good performance from Windsor but very poor from Slough.

Think I might pop onto their Forum and see what they thought of it.

I think I might just have a look myself Rother.  The Slough forum often makes for (?) good (?), interesting reading.

Congratulations to Steve, Mal, Kevin and all friends at Windsor.

Possibly a good omen for next season.

I am told, completely unofficially that full time score was

DFC  3 -  3  Frimley Green.

Can any one confirm ?  If so, a satisfactory result in my book.

Badshot Lea 0 v 0 Egham Town

A good workout for both sides and although Egham had the better chances, a draw was probably the right result. Plenty of positives. Next up Hampton & Richmond next Saturday.

Bedfont Sports 1 v 1 Holyport

Epsom Athletic 1 v 1 South Park

Pre-Season results are funny things, you cannot take much notice of them,or can you? Goals galore if you watch Guildford though, same applies to Staines Lammas. And Windsors 4-1 win was amazing, considering Slough are 2 Levels above them.

Given DFC's  unfortunate last season followed by weeks and weeks of uncertainty, how did we look, Rich ??

Sorry BJR, just seen this.

Dorking were competitive, especially in the first half but as we all know, very few players at this stage are actually there for the start of the season and with the changes there coming in, I'm sure they will strengthen further.

The report from our draw against Farleigh Rovers is available at:

Thanks Rich.

Our next friendly proved a bit better with a 3-3 draw against slightly higher opposition, so thinks are looking up.
