I couldn’t make the “Sing if you’re Haringey”  fixture, but a game of two halves by the sound of it. Hey ho, there were quite a few dropped points up at the top, so not as damaging as it might have been.

In the equally cut-throat Prediction League, the Jagos both slipped up leaving COYS clear at the top of Div 1, with Blackballed sneaking into second.  At the bottom, a surprise win for Dinamo sees Mick The Bat as the last remaining full-on loser.

Down in the development division Nick also got his first win, while Diamond Geezer remains top despite dropping points in an entertaining 10-10 draw with Wivenhoe.

Talking of 10 goals, it was a most extraordinary week for scores.  An amazing nine of you scored 10, but nobody scored more.   Most strange.  You each win a ninth of the Golden Boot.

There were no particularly Lucky B@st@rds this week, but I’ll give it to Mr D and Sir Colin who really had no right to pick up any points with a paltry 6 goals each.

Finally Lady Jago has taken over as overall top scorer (it’s my mid-week coaching you know), and Luke remains Head of Leaky Defences.  As he will no doubt remind me when bemoaning his “luck”.

Next week sees 5 of the top 6 facing each other (or Carshalton who seem pretty decent too), so there’s a distinctive Isthmian flavour to the fixtures.  Plus Palace who I regret to announce have taken over as our FA Cup baton holder.
