Wer`nt a bad keeper for us (not that you would know about that CG) but suffered from injury at the end from what I can remember.

Was that compared to my Dino Zoff efforts, Rob?
We really have been lucky over the years and decades with class keepers - the only one who always kept my heart in my mouth was Colin Lewington, could be brilliant - but then drop a clanger.

BTW - does anyone on here have any news on Craig Holloway's injury - assuming he has had all his operations etc, and must soon be starting some light training?

Didn't think Craig was on contract - just kept his registration.

For me the incumbent must stay - indeed LK has really been outstanding and consistant so far this season for one so young regognised of cxourse by his England call up.

Methinks it would make good sense to get him and a couple of the really promising youngsters (Moore, Sodje, Ricketts, Coleman) on longer contracts - say 2/3 years - then if bigger teams come knocking on the door they will have to really pay their true worth.-

What a lot of name droppers here!

Well I once had to wait for Paul Lamb and Lee Turner to putt out on the 3rd green at Boughton Golf Course, needless to say Pauls putting was like his shooting and clearances. We skipped the hole!

Mark Rawle is currently giving his all for Alfreton Town. He played against Moor Green and lost 2-0, both goals coming from the ironically named Moore

Matt Lee is pictured in the NLP as they supply an archive photo of him playing against Mark Quayle who was writing an article for them in yesterdays edition.

I didn't see any other former 'Fleet player news however in non former 'Fleet raleted news Richard Pacquette, who was sent off for Farnborough playing against us on his debute, scored for Havent & Waterlooville at the weekend.

This news obviously disgusts me.
