dulwich game at 3pm on the saturday....

This thread started with the decision that AFCH are to play a F.A. cup tie on Sat at 3-0-clock. Which was met with wholesale agreement.

Then it was muted that it would be played on a Friday night. I am assuming it is night because no kick off time was actually given!

Why because England are playing.

England should not be allowed to have a 3-0-Clock saturday kick-off unless every single game in the country is postponed.

The FA (who's premier cup competition we are talking about) can control this.

Why should lower league teams suffer?

Why should AFCH or Dulwich suffer from loss of revenue because the FA has set up a clash between the FA cup and the national side?

I can assure you that the FA take grass roots football very seriously, I have had numerous meetings with the FA over the last few years relating to the national team and one of the main topic's of discussion is kick off times, this is the first 3 o'clock Saturday kick off that England have had in 3 years.

You will see that the regular kick off times for England home games is 5 o'clock and one of the reasons for this is so that fans can watch their club matches and then stay on at their respective clubs to watch the England match and bring revenue in to the said club. The FA are aware that 3 o'clock kick off times mean that some people opt to miss their clubs matches to watch England, not sure quite why they have gone against the trend this time round mind, but obviously TV companies play a big part in the decision.
