Does he look like John Wayne? - 'The Quiet Man' an excellent film, the fight scene where they stop for the drink midway was inspired

Do I, the incident is what my comment was based on and I was only relaying what I heard at the time, on hindsight I should have kept quiet as it was latched onto and blown out of all proportion.
Incidentally films is Lato's department, he might like to comment.

There are two clubs in glasgow, Rangers and Celtic whose political and religious foundations were so extreme that for many years you could not play for them unless you shared those beliefs.

When I go to Spurs matches I often hear the opposition fans making gas noises, a reference to the Nazi camps because spurs play near where a large Jewish community live.

Birmingham City are run by people who made their money in the porn industry.

Rugby football started at Rugby School in Warwickshire.

Rugby balls have always been oval. The boys at Rugby School used footballs made from inflated pigs bladders which are, themselves, oval in shape.

Rugby was an amateur game, meaning that players could not be paid to play, until 1995.

The first time that the England team played outside Europe was when they travelled to New Zealand in 1963.

The very first match at Twickenham Stadium took place in 1909.

The first Rugby World Cup tournament took place in 1987.

Greg Dyke - Exactly, and we didn't hear a word from Kentish Town's spokesperson on Thursday or yesterday about how the hearing went, I also wasn't asked to supply a statement or attend in person which I would have happily done.

So did the hearing finally happen on Thursday or was it postponed yet again, I'm still curious to know what evidence there was to be gathered by both parties if it was supposedly an open and shut case.

The kindest conclusion I can come to over this is that KTFC had been notified that they may face an fa charge, precise details unknown, and that subsequently no actual charge was made or it was dropped.

I cant believe it has been postponed again, justice delayed justice denied etc.

KTFC is a club I have come to admire in many ways and I wish them well.

How have KTFC been punished ? The supposed hearing hasn't happened yet as it keeps on getting postponed.

I propose we change it to the 'Load of Tosh & Figment of the Imagination' Thread !

Syd. A wild stab in the dark here but could it be the GM's are involved somehow in new Edgware FC and want to protect the public perception of their committee man Mr Rhodes? grin

I only say this because a post was placed on here with KTFC's thoughts on the hearing. It was quickly deleted by the GM's, so a bit rich perhaps for people involved in new Edgware to now eagerly pass one sided comment. Or do you not agree?
