ash 1-4 chertsey.

pomroy (pen), tyson, crossley (unbelivable teeckers), papali

another good win for chertsey to still give them a sniff of the title and yet again another dazzling dispaly from tom o'regan!! after a very early pommers penalty chertsey settled down and played some nice football on a typical end of season pitch with sam belcher pulling the strings in the midfield. chertsey soon doubled there lead soon after when the ball fell to the feet of steve tyson 8yards out who made no mistak. chertsey bossed the game for most of the 1st half untill a defensive lapse aloud ash to pull a goal back just before the break. this seemed to spur ash on as they opened up the 2nd half on the front foot untill midway through the half andy crossley kept hold of possession on the the chertsey left cut back onto his right foot with a cruyff like turn on the edge of the box and then delightfully bent the ball in the far top corner to open up chertsey's 2 goal lead again. once again chertsey settled back into the game and wrapped up the points when the ever impressive tom o'regan cut in from the left to the byline and as the ash goalkeeper came out to close him down he chipped the ball over his head for dean papali to head into an empty net from 6 yards!!! all credit to ash as they never gave up but chertsey's quality told on the night!!!

MV SCR 1 - 0 Bedfont S

Tough game, good link up play between Holden & Pagey which led to Pageys volleyed goal. Pretty even game, both teams had chances, Pagey hit the bar from 20 yards out, their no.11 was always a problem. Good win, 3pts in the bag. HW up next this Saturday.

Not one to moan about refs especially when being a neutral at a game but todays official at the Egham v Molsey game was a disgrace. There was not one bad tackle in the game yet there were 5 bookings. Stop start all nite I was not surprised to hear he was being assessed. Decisions being made leaving players, supporters and neutrals bewildered as to what was happening and who had actually been penalised and what for. I think his assistants actually felt ashamed to be involved in the same match as him.

I know we all make mistakes but it was the worst display from a ref I have ever seen. I can take that some players don't help themselves with refs etc.etc. but it ruined what was a well contested fast paced football match.

Having said that...Molsey are a good footballing side and probably deserved a draw...but if you don't score past Piercey you will probably lose as Egham always have a goal or two in them.......

Warlingham 5-1 Farnham Town

Another super display from us tonight and before any Farnham people come on and say we that they played last night aswell....tough! dont enter silly cup competitions and if you do have fixtures piling up, pull out the cup!!!

Warlingham dominated from start to finish and it could have and should have been more. Unbeaten run continues and some promising youngsters coming through for next season.

Camberley 0-0 Badshot Lea

Camberley - no goals against the Baggies this season and no draft lager in the bar tonight - shameful :snack: ;)

Must be trying to save money for the new ground.

Ha!

I did warn people on our forum about the lager situation. We had too many of those Hampshire people at the ground over the weekend so we sold out of all the crap stuff.

Most of us in Surrey have got a bit of class and prefer to drink real beer so we weren't affected by the chavs drinking all the Fosters at the weekend. I partook in Gale's Seafarers and Wychwood's Wychcraft tonight.

As for the game - first half was a bit dull but both teams had a couple of good chances. I thought second half we played really well and a win for us wouldn't be unjust but 'twas not to be.

Speaking to the Baggie's chairman tonight. Seems like a decent fella. He said that nothing's decided yet regarding where they'll be playing next season but 3 or 4 clubs were mentioned in passing as possibles, some of them very interesting......They've got until May 31st to sort it out.

But then he might have just been spinning me a line.....

**edit** By the way, as it's a topic of discussion atm - can I just say that tonight's referee is in line for ref of the season. If they were all like him the subject of their general incompetance wouldn't come up on here very often.

Great result for you tonight, a draw may well have been a fair result, however as we cant ever win at home its no suprise !!!!, the difference was your two front lads, Our no 11 Tommy Hedges, either great or frustrating you never know with him. Good luck for the rest of the season, looks like you might go on a win it now, as for us we look forward to our cup final and the fact that we have to play every 2/3 days !!!

Westfield 2-0 Eversley

Much better from us and as solid as we've looked for months. Decent football played at times. I think Eversley got a shock first half as they appeared to turn up thinking it was a going to be a stroll. They were getting on each others backs on the pitch. 2nd half as you would expect they were much better and dominated for 20 min. Our keeper pulled off a worldie and they missed a couple before we got back into it and wrapped up the game in the last ten minutes. Think we may have unearthed a gem of a striker in Asif
