Westfield 1-0 Staines Lammas

Edwards with the winning goal for Westfield.

Staines will wonder how they didn't take all three points especially as they were so dominant first half Baldock and James both missing chances that should have seen Westfield go in front but neither could hit the target. Brawley in the Westfield goal didn't really have a meaningful save to make all game with all Staines chances going off target. Westfield barely threatened first half but seemed most likely to score from set pieces as Staines's young goalkeeper was struggling in the air. Westfield were starting to get into the game and on the stroke of half time Anderson headed against the bar.

Second half started in controversal style with Staines FURIOUS about not being award a penalty. I didn't see what happened clearly but the referee gave an indirect free kick inside the box. Apparently the ref gave a foul for obstruction as Westfield player blocked Baldock as he was gonig towards goal with the ball. This seemed to rattle Staines and from that point Westfield were on top. Staines goalkeeper made a great save from close range before the rebound was cleared off the line before Westfield finally score. Great passing move ended with Edwards through on goal who scrabbled the balll over the line. Staines didn't really threaten to score an equaliser, in fact Westfield looked more dangerous with Cheeseman denied by the Staines goalkeeper. Westfield then ran down the clock and got a big 3 points.

First half was all Staines, could have been 4 goals up.

Second half was mainly Westfield.

We were very poor today. Gifted Knaphill two early goals and despite the Knaphill midfielder playing a perfect ball to Baker for us to pull one back,we didn't do enough to equalise.

Personally didn't think there was much quality on show today. Good result for Knaphill though and hope they finish the season strongly.

Always good banter from Ellers and I think everyone agreed the referee made some interesting calls

Horley 3 guildford 5.

Quite a good open game.

1 nil horley early on.

should of been 2 or 3up but failed to take easy chances.

guildford eqalised when the keeper gave away a pen and got booked. Then the ref blocked off horley centre midfielder and guildford pushed on and went 2-1 up with some good football.

2nd half and the turning point of the game horley forward through on goal and dragged down pen given but guildford captain should of picked up his 2nd yellow and walked.2-2.

then a weak shot from outside the area from guildford and the horley keeper somehow dropped it. 3-2 guildford.

horley keeper then gave away a 2nd pen and got sent off. 4-2.

horley with 10 men went for the game and played some brilliant stuff and created lots of chances.

then again horley striker through on goal the other centre back dragged him down pen awarded, but 2nd yellow not awarded once again. 4-3.

Horley continued to push for equaliser but guildfird scored and finished the game off.

overall a guttsy performance from horley with only 10 and on another day we would have been a few ahead.

but thats football.

look forward to the away game in a couple of weeks.

Great win today. A depleted side started very poorly but after the first half hour i'm not sure Staines created anything of note. We had a decent amount of chances in the end and can be happy with the result in the end.

Staines seemed also a wee bit light on numbers and I understand the gaffer was badly let down by some.

On another note Gary James apologised for his previous misdemeanour at the end.

Farleigh 0-6 warlingham

Well what can I say an awful game of football. First half wars went 1-0 up and cruising then from a farleigh free kick wars broke away and made it 2-0 at HT. second half boring wars got reduced to 10 men only to make them strong or maybe I should say farleigh weaker. Bad game to watch embarrassing to watch. Never seen football so bad than today. Good to see some good friends and some forum boys , spy, bomaya, farleigh army, farleigh fox, gilesy, neavsey and glads.

Good luck both teams

No disrepect intended but of nearly 50 games I've seen this season that was the worst performance I have seen in Farleigh today. Warlingham deserved their 0-2 lead at the break but it was too easy as the keeper was clearly unfit. He couldnt kick the ball and was barely moving for shots.

Second half though was just astonishing. Wars right back Jordan was set off for a second booking and yet Wars just got better. They scoredtwo quick goals to kill the game and after that it just got embarrassing. The loud and boisterous home support went from pantomime baiting of various Wars players to barracking the manager. He's certainly lost the fans and judging by the performance he's lost the team as well. The final two goals were just laughable, with Farleigh players hardly bothering to tackle as Wars waltzed through them with ease.

Don't hold back, Bom !!

Why not say what you really mean !

is this the same keeper that let the ball slip under him for the South Park Winner? 4 goals conceded down to him in 2 games? too much christmas pudding?

Ash 6 Sandhurst 1 we were under the cosh right from the kick off and in no time found ourselves 1 0 down but we were soon level and it looked like game on but from the moment we equalised we were taken to the cleaners by a very strong and physical utd team,we gave away some dreadfull goals and all round just were not good enough, no excuse for such a poor performance and now need to lift ourselves for our next game against Staines in the southern combination cup on thursday evening,Lee Riddell has joined the club as a player/coach and will add much needed experience to very young side Lee has played in the Conference for Farnborough and also played for Kingstonians ans is a great aquisition for the club.

W.Park 3-0 Cobham.

A very tough win for us today. Cobham started very well and dominated the whole of the first half. They created a few chances with their ex-prem player smashing the ball against the bar after a good turn and shot. They had a couple of other chances which I managed to hold on to.

After getting a right rollicking at half time, we came out a lot stronger and scored a good goal from a freekick about 25 yards out. Cobham continued to attack but couldn't create anything as near clear cut as they did in the first half. Then our captain scored a fantastic goal from about 30-35 yards out after he saw the keeper off his line and struck the ball over the back peddling keeper. We created a couple of other chances and then got the third in the last couple of minutes with our left back cutting across the box and smashing the ball into the top corner without the keeper moving.

With regards to Farleigh Rovers, we played them last week and even though we won 4-1, they created us problems and their two wide men I thought were very good and the scoreline did somewhat flatter us a little. Hopefully it's just a little blip.

The run continues with an excellent all round performance today. Karl Dallaway put us in front early on before Sandhurst levelled from a corner, but two goals from Karl again & Phil Hornbrook put us 3-1 at half time. 2nd half was evenly balanced until Adam Beale scored our fourth. Then Karl Dallaway scored his third & his first hattrick for the club & to rub salt into the wounds Ash 6th was an own goal in the finally minute.

Thought we wanted it more on a sticky (wembley) pitch & after we went 2 goals in front Sandhurst seem to throw the towel in, but we also owed them a result after they had well beaten us twice already this season
