Looks like Farnborough are going for broke this season.

They seem to be continually signing players and have now signed ex rebels Adam Martin from Chesham and Elliott Buchanan on a dual reg from Kingstonian.

It's been on my calendar since the start of the season :-

Tuesday 16th November : Hayes & Yeading United v Farnborough

Wasn't Steve manager of Alesbury the week before we played Rugby in the play off game Alesbury winning 3 nil and Rugby beating 6 nil weeks before this game sure they thought advantage would be on there side especially as semi final was on there patch to.

What a turn around in this game could of been different if ref gave  Eddie a red instead of a yellow early on.

Steve Bateman takes the reigns at Spartan south midland Aylesbury vale .

Ah that makes sense now. We went to the Burnham v Aylesbury vase match last week and Steve Bateman sat in front of us watching the game with another guy.

If last weeks performance is anything to go by, he has a heck of a lot of work to do as they aren't very good!

Watched Supermarine draw 1-1 to Hendon in league match  Marine should of won missed some good chances. After Micheal.s fine display for Slough last week saw another young fine goal keeper between the sticks for Hendon had no chance with equaliser powerful shot from 20 yards out.

Another excellent 3 -0 win for Dartford away to Maidstone in the FA Cup.

Dan Roberts was on the bench coming on in the 77th minute.

An astonishngly low crowd of 2,136 yesterday at James Whatman Way for what was a much more even cup tie than the scoreline suggests.

But it frees up the massive National League South match on Saturday 6th November Maidstone United v Slough Town.

Is it on your calendar/in your diary? It's on my calendar!!!

As Glen has said, with the ongoing petrol crisis and rising cost of living some are very likely prioritizing their spending.

BTW what do the mighty Maidstone charge these day's for the high quality of football on offer?
