Nice 1-0 grinding win - I think we will all take that. Defence looked very solid.

And as discussed on here last week, the appointment of a permanent first team manager means that Sir Colin can finally get back to his day job: managing Ivor Stand FC.  He duly won, leaving Old Urchin as the only remaining pointless manager.  Shape up Old’Un!

Anyway, COYS continues to stride ahead at the top of Div 1, albeit with a fortuitous win over a shot*-shy Dinamo, while Blackballed and myself will both be raging over the unfairness of scoring 12 but only getting one point.  Again.   (*other vowels are available)

Down in Division 2 it’s the junior Jagos who continue to head the division, with Adrian in hot pursuit.  The honours in the Cuppa-Paul derby went the way of the home side in front of a sell-out crowd at Lapsang Souchong Lane, and Marta got her season back on track with a solid 14-12 over The Geezer who probably thought he’d done enough.  I guess Nick was a bit unlucky too, but who cares?  It’s a cruel game.

IMPORTANT - AND FAIRLY RANDOM - ANNOUNCEMENT

I've been wrestling with this all week.  Some nights I barely sleep.  So...

If - as expected - it's a sellout at Dulwich with an announced crowd of 3334, you will only get 3 goals awarded, not 5 (if you have gone for 3334).  All other predicted attendances will still be eligible for the 2 goal bonus.

Seems fair to me (I've gone for the 3334 so there you go!)

Any complaints - I'll be asleep, finally able to rest.

And yes, you may change your attendance any time up to midnight tonight.
