Mo Farah

Recommended Posts

Whatever it was seemed to happen between 7.26 and 9.07 last Saturday night. Perhaps if we find out what it was we could bottle it. Might be a cure for Hypocrisy.

Loosely - So will you be cheering Mo Farah to Olympic Gold in August,

Seeing how I made the above prediction on 19 February maybe you should be giving me a bit of credit

A great performance.

It still annoys me slightly that certain Team GB competitors, (Mo included), cannot/will not sing the Natiuonal Anthem.

After all, they are representing Great Britain, not themsleves.

We are the MO-Bots!

What is a Mo-Bot supposed to signify exactly and is it unique to him or copied

It's based on Mo's celebration of doing the robot.

Although Peter Crouch did it first.

It's a bit of fun, and I doubt Mo would mind.

Didn't think the closing ceremony was though. What a load of self indulgent rubbish, and IMO excelled itself by being even worse than the opening ceremony, which I thought was dire.

What particularly p1ssed me off though was the fact that the Olympics are supposed to promote clean living and sobriety, and yet the closing ceremony contained more than its fair share of drunks, drug addicts and even a hasbeen rockstar who has in the past been arrested for looking at child porn on his laptop, (in the name of research of coarse). I was almost surprised Gary Glitter wasn't the star act.

Now its all over I cant wait for all the scandals surrounding the past two weeks to unravel, as I'm confident they will.

I have to say I enjoyed the Madness, Brian May, Kaiser Chiefs and The Who performing, as well as Timothy Spall and Eric Idle.

Rest of it I wasn't too fussed about.

I still wish someone would teach him the National Anthem !!

and perhaps they could teach Ashley Cole at the same time. Singing the National Anthem is nowt to do with success. I imagine when he is getting his gold he is not thinking about it ! We should revel in his success he is a fantastic talent gleaned from a lot of hard work and in my humble opinion what we witnessed over the past two weeks was the best ever. Leaving the Legacy in the safe hands of Seb Coe, combined with the retention of funding and a return to competitive sports at school should see the continued development of many more Mo's and Jessica's. Back Holly Bleasdale to win the Pole Vault at Rio!

What about The Spice Girls, didn't you like them

The Spice Girls were OK, but to me they've always been over-hyped.

I'd choose Queen, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Who before The Spice Girls, Steps, Take That and The Saturdays.

Like what for example, that Laura Trott and Prince Harry were caught in her bedroom in the Olympic Village
