Molesey 2-1 Westfield

Proud of our lads last night

Showed Molesey too much respect 1st half and were deservedly 1 down. Decided to go at them second half and they struggled to deal with us. We played really well. Hit an equaliser then our striker and their midfielder dismissed for fighting on the pitch, shortly afterwards their right back slaps our winger for some reason and see’s red too. Out of nowhere they hit a absolutely worldy 25 yard free kick with literally their only effort on goal 2nd half. We threw everything at them, hit bar twice and missed other chances but wasn’t to be.

As well as we played it’s time to stop being unlucky , and start winning games. We have 6 cup finals now starting this Saturday at home to Kilburn. Good luck to Molesey in the final, nice club.

A big Cup Semi-Final at Egham tonight for our boys.

It's also a significant milestone for the club as it is the 1000th first team competitive match for our club since we left our ground at West Street 20 years ago this May. :(

Let's hope we can surprise the Sarnies tonight to mark the occasion properly, although the cynical amongst us could say that an apathetic 90 minutes would be a more accurate way of marking our exile!

Well, there hasn't been more rain, and with the breeze we've had today, things must be looking up !

Congrats to Villa on a deserved win. 9th game in 18 days, catching up on some, misisng some key players too, but no excuse, Villa were the better team.
