Really good to finally meet "Uncle T" today. Good match and nice reception at Levy Green plus 3 more points on our 3 competition unbeaten run. Would really like to put more faces to forum avatars during the course of this season. I now know the identity of at least one of the faceless accounts on here after today.

Definatly going to have to hook up this year big Dawg , but i dont have to dress up as one of the Hertford ghosts do i ?

Sun 0 - 1 Cockfosters

Proper smash and grab for them today, great finish by there guy but they didnt deserve it. No sign of Morts, Stu Blackburnt and Old Ferg though so maybe they were short but we need to put these games to bed. There keeper couldnt have wasted any more time at the end. Was like back in the day, at one point was waiting for him to roll it on the floor and pick it straight up again. Ref prob still wouldnt have cared .

Stat attack for the Gaffa as I'm sick of him bitching about last season's stat post when we were losing game after game. I know he reads this forum so this is for you Paul. Last 10 games in all competitions W7 D2 L1 giving him a win 70% ratio. Much better. Keep it up. Na na na na na na na, na na na naaaaa Halsey!

Better stats than his time as a goalkeeper at WGC (1990-1994),

Played 10, Won 1, Lost 9, Goals conceded 31.

Hertford were too good for us

Not many people would hold their hands up and admit to being outplayed, fair play

I went to Harefield vs Kings Langley and I've got to admit I was a little disappointed. Surprisingly, (out of the promoted teams) I think Kings Langley will go further than Sun Postal in the league this year, they've added better players to their squad, Danny May being quite the coup. A couple of players in their team aren't quite good enough for this league though, Luke Ladybug in particular is very sloppy at the back.

Harefield look like almost a completely new team. The bench is extremely loud, they will win a ton of free-kicks, throw-ins and penalties with the weak refs in this league. I don't mind it, but it's when they start trying to get the opposition booked for nothing tackles that gets me.

On the whole, if you were thinking of seeing either of these two teams soon, give it a miss for a while.

Brilliant timing as we play Kings Langley tonight! Can't wait now. Please at least tell me the clubhouse is amazing and the welcome is warm?

It is actually a lovely clubhouse as it goes, the sort of place that could comfortably put on a good 40th birthday bash. If you like a curry, I strongly recommend Cinnamon Lounge on the high street before or after, you won't be disappointed.

Good to know. I'll be sure to let all the 39yr-olds know about it.  :P
