Jordan Brown is unbelievable. Rolls out of bed with two goals. I hope they can keep him for next season and see what he can do at (knocks on wood) the next level.

I think Jordan must be 'on a fair whack' at McMullen Park but it's obviously money well spent, Peter McCormack probably gave him a blank cheque when he signed on the dotted line, what do you think.

He's already played at Step 4 with Bedford Town? So will have no probs at Step 5.

Well, yes, that's right, what sort of money was Jordan on at The Eyire, Bedford Town't loss is obviouly Real Bedford's gain.

Not sure about JB but would guess Dan Walker is on more than he was on at Bedford Town, or would have been little point him leaving. Would certainly have been a useful squad player at Step 3.

As both clubs Real Bedford and Elstow are from the Bedord area I feel the home of Kempston Rovers would be an ideal venue for the final

Hopefully will be at The New Eyrie and a first return visit next door for Peter McCormack since he was apparently frogmarched off the premises by the Bedford Town Chairman

LondonEagle was correct about the Final of the Bedfordshire FA Senior Trophy being hosted at The Eyrie, it will be played on Wednesday 29 March, hopefully a live stream can be agreed:

I know that they've requested the ability to stream the game but it's up to the powers that be at Bedford Town so I can't imagine they allow it. Seems like bad blood will win out there. I'm hopeful as I'd love to see them hoist a cup later this month.

It's currently 1-0 at McMullen Park in this afternoon's fixture with Burton Park Rangers following a clinical Tom Hitchcock strike on 23 minutes, set up by, who else, Jordan Brown:

Thanks for sharing the match programs each week. I often miss them in advance of the match but really enjoy reading through them. It's unlikely but possible they could win the league and a cup before the month closes out.

Supremo Rob Sinclair's assessment of the excellent 5-1 victory over Burton Park Wanderers on Saturday, Rob has proved his weight in gold hasn't he since arriving at McMullen Park and fully justified Chairman Peter McCormack's shrewd decision to appoint him:

Also see an interesting post match interview with botTom Wood and new signing Lewis Burgess following the impressive 5-1 victory over Burton Park Wanderers on Saturday. No nonsense defender Lewis, who is also a long throw specialist of Rory Delap and Ian Hutchinson proportions, is surely the icing on the cake this season at McMullen Park and a very shrewd signing by boss Rob Sinclair from Daventry Town where he played for just over a year. Prior to that Lewis plied his trade at Corby Town and Rothwell Corinthians and whilst at University in Bedford was cherry-picked for England Universities where he was instrumental in helping them to lift the prestigious Home Nations Cup:

I never thought I would say this but a good result for Real Bedford last night with Rugby Borough beating Northampton ON Chenecks 3-1, Rob Sinclair's men are pretty much 'home and hosed' now, no pun intended with the Cheltenham Festival this week:

Wednesday 15 March

Division One
Rugby Borough 3 Northampton ON Chenecks 1

Yeah never would have thought a few weeks ago I'd be rooting for Rugby to win games. Massive result and definitely feels like we are done and dusted at this point.

I see that Bedford Ladies have a Bedfordshire FA County Cup Semi Final tie tomorrow (Sunday) at Biggleswade United Ladies, good luck to them, the winners will meet AFC Dunstable Ladies or Luton Town Ladies in the Final who also meet tomorrow at Creasey Park:

No difficulties whatsoever then for Real Bedford on Saturday, under leaden skies, at Rushden & Higham United's Hayden Road ground in a one sided 5-0 win, and that was without Jordan Brown. Ben McGrath, Kevin Owusu, Ben Fitzjohn and Tom Hitchcock with a brace netted, more details of the proceedings to follow:

What a result for Bedford Ladies yesterday, winning 3-1 at Biggleswade United to reach the Final of the prestigious Bedfordshire FA County Cup for women, Lauren Coppin and Zara Carroll with a clinical brace got the goals. Luton Town Ladies also won 3-1 against AFC Dunstable Ladies in the other Semi Final with Tony Incenzo present at Creasey Park, played on the adjacent 3g surface.
