Bookham 0-4 Knaphill

Very solid performance by the Knappers today, goals by Michael Pym, Billy Jones and the Legend Jay Coombes on a truly horrendous playing surface, our back four were excellent, as was the entire squad, we have Worcester Park at Home on Tuesday which will be very difficult, really pleased with lads at the moment and hoping we can continue playing well for the remaining matches.

Well done Lads!!!

Up the Knappers!!

Camberley 9 v 0 Dorking.

Yes that one sided, Yes Camberley played well. Yes Dorking were that poor and if that is the squad relegation looms.

Best bit. Camberleys third goal. Great move and the finish squirmed under the keeper and crossed the line by a yard. Keeper hauls it back but AR give it. A certain Mr Buckland shouts at the keeper did it go in. No sayd the keeper. Dreadful. Take it on the chin son you should have saved it !!!

Just as well Camberley had nothing to play for and Dorking were fighting for their lives ;)

Egham Town 2 Horley Town 1

We played a lot better with our full squad, which makes me wonder what the score would have been at Dorking with this starting line-up. Goalless first half with us on top. Six minutes into the second half Matt Grave curls in a beauty but from the restart Gary Tomlinson makes it 1-1. Dale Marvell's freee kick, headed in after 69 minutes, earns us a superb double over Horley, with the same scorers as in our 2-1 win at the New Defence.

Guernsey FC 2 Hounslow Und 0

Today's starting GFC team v CB Hounslow Utd: Tardif, Mackay, McKenzie, Cochrane, Strawbridge, Warren, Mahon, Black, Heaume, Allen, Bradford

Today's subs - Geall, de Garis, Winch, Jordan, Loaring

Interesting team selection for today's game with Angus Mackay playing in the right wing back position, a position he has filled previously but of late has been filling a midfield role.

A pretty uninspiring first half performance with Guernsey having the majority of the possession in midfield, but the ball spent far too much time in that area of the field and Ross Allen was starved of supply. Hounslow were reluctant to get forward and suffered a similar problem of getting into the last third of the field.

HALFTIME STATS: Free kicks - GFC 6 HFC 4, Shots on target - GFC 3 HFC 1, Shots off target - GFC 5 HFC 1, Corners - GFC 4, HFC 1.

Guernsey came out with a much more positive approach in the second half and it was Ross Allen that broke the deadlock in the 55th minute running on to a ball into the penalty area and putting the Green Lions 1-0 in the lead. The goal lifted the crowd and the team responded with wave after wave of attacks, but lacking again the final third. Rhys Jordan, on his home debut, had a glorious chance to put the game beyond Hounslow, late in the game, but with only the goalkeeper to beat he scuffed his shot wide. Although Guernsey looked comfortably in control of the game, 1-0 ahead is always a worry and in the 90th minute Chris Tardif had to make an excellent save and push the ball around the post for a corner in Hounslow only shot on target in the second half. Matt Loaring was tremendously unlucky not to score shortly afterwards when his shot beat the keeper, hit both posts and came back into play. The game was deep into stoppage time when Ross Allen, scoring his 50th League goal this season, eventually put the game beyond doubt and gave Guernsey a 2-0 win.

FULL-TIME STATS: Free kicks - GFC 6 HFC 5, Shots on target - GFC 7 HFC 1, Shots off target - GFC 6 HFC 2, Corners - GFC 3, HFC 1.

GFC substitutions - Rhys Jordan on for Matt Warren and Matt Loaring on for Scott Bradford after 53 mins

Jason Winch replaces Ollie McKenzie 73 mins

Man of the match - Angus Mackay

Crowd - 1218

Camberley Town 9-0 Dorking

Abject performance by Chicks, just how did they beat Egham last week? With a much changed Cambo side having lost several key players (Cornell, Mepham, Griffiths etc) and with last week's Chicks win, I was expecting a well contested close game. Dorking conceded after about 2 minutes and never looked back! Impressed with Barclay for Cambo, caused problems all afternoon.

In the last 3 games I've filmed featuring Chicks, the stats stand at L3, F1, A21.....

Love to know how your player stays on the pitch after raising his hands and hiting Horley player in the face
