Guernsey Vs. Raynes Park Vale

Recommended Posts

Footes lane is currently waterlogged, despite forking around for a while. The ref is going down at 1 to check, but I suspect a late kick off at the track which I believe to be well drained and playable - Watch this space

That's what you get for 'forking-around' !!

:bolt:

Thanks big jr . Unfortunately no amount of forking around is going to make the pitch playable so the match is off. Will be rescheduled for a later date

How embarrasing it must of been for Guernsey FC,to have to call off yesterdays game against Raynes Park Vale.A drop of rain that we had 5 hours previously, never curtailed 1 Fixture in the CCL,even Chessingtons ground was playable.A red alert was put out on the Island for Pitch Fork volunteers, all to no avail as the game was abandoned.Even Ormering.com did not put up the news last night.I WONDER WHY?

Welcome back Smudgey-Boy.

Bet this will cause a ruffle of feathers on here.

Oh Great!..... I thought smudge had left.

Give us a F* break. Get off our sodding backs.

Were you here? No.

Did you see the rain? No.

It was not forecast, it was persistent and very heavy, all night and all day.

The REFEREE declared Footes Lane and The Track unplayable.

Do you have a magic wand??

He gets my fur up with his constant whining about Guernsey, most of it totally unjustified.

I just have to cling to the belief of karma and one day he will get what he deserves.

I should have known that my delight at his "I'm leaving this forum" posting would be premature.

I'm going back to my life now. I have one.
