Enfield Town v Folkestone Invicta

Recommended Posts

And I thought Tuesday was bad?

Not sure why we've begun playing sideways and backwards with the occasional hit-and-hope long ball? Cos it ain't working!

ATTACK...ATTACK...ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻

This is nothing new - lets remember we've been leaking goals all season. Yet again we were going to have to score 3 to claim the points. It just so happens that Marcus is going through a bit of a dip and RBR hasn't been able to pick up the slack. It would be great to make the play-offs - particularly given the start we've had - but I understand Gavin is looking at this as a long-term project.

A-H has to be benched every time playing backwards. Attack FFS! As for Knight he played badly on Tuesday and gave the ball away for the second and offered nothing today. Time for changes or it’s same old same old.

Obi looked really good when he came on. Time to mix it up Gav.

Our finishing today was poor. We missed half a dozen decent chances.

The ref was not the best and encouraged a tense atmosphere on the pitch.

The Folkstone keeper was constantly timewasting.

The first touch of our players today was the worst i've seen for a long time.

The commitment on 50/50 tackles was lacking by most Town players

A hard edge, will to win and bit a nastiness was lacking by Town.

This game proved we still struggle against teams that counter attack quickly. even if those teams have little possession in the game.

Folkstone wanted it more and deserved the win.

Another strong showing from Chesericay yesterday. You'll definitely be one of the better supported sides in the Isthmian North Div next season. Not entirely clear who your local derby will be - perhaps the other Enfield up at Stortford? Exciting times up the A10!

Absolute comedy.....less points than games played, possibility of getting relegated 2 successive seasons and come on here to talk about another team as nothing positive to say about yours haha

24 points worse off

21 goals worse off.

This has never been more true!!

Maybe an idea to concentrate on your own team's woeful position!!

Night night

But you are the mighty Enfield Town . Who can't get out of this league .. At least we managed it even if it was brief ... We did it you never will 🫤

The big difference is that Enfield Town will still be playing in their own local stadium long after Cheshunt are  ground sharing out in the likes of Harlow or Ware.

Please define ‘long term project’.
