If we want to do the shirts, then can we get the squad confirmed by Monday 22 November so that it gives us time to get the order processed?

That would also probably give enough time to get the information required for the programme.

If not everyone wants one, then I suggest we take Brunty up on his offer.

In either case Johnno, can we borrow shorts and socks still?

As this could be an annual fixture, should we supply a trophy to the winners of the event, and make it an annual trophy???

I've got a good contact that would supply us a trophy free of charge. Each year we can add the winners name on the trophy!

We could call it the Fans Forum Challenge Trophy! The Woking Peacocks may not always be around or available so instead, we can make it an event that allows a team to challenge a select Fans Forum team.

At least then there is something to play for other than just for 'charity mate'

What do people think?

A trophy was something else I was going to try and supply JJ. If you can get one for free that would save me a couple of quid.

Ivor Baker Awards in Eversley have kindly agreed to donate the trophy that would be awarded annually to the winning team.

What do we want the engraving to say on the front of the trophy??

Fans Forum Challenge Trophy ??

Any suggestions??

and are we happy for the trophy to also say 'kindly supplied by Ivor Baker Awards'

JJ, maybe it should be

'CHASE Charity Trophy'

Woking Peacocks

V

Fans Forum XI

'kindly supplied by Ivor Baker Awards'

As i said earlier, there is no guarantee that Woking Peacocks will be able to fulfil this fixture every year so probably best not to limit it to just Woking Peacocks (remember that they have their own charity match on 24th December).

Also, it would be nice of us to be able to pick and choose which charity we feel any collection or donations should go to for future matches! Someone this time next year may be affected by something like Cancer or Leukaemia and we may feel that we want to donate to any of those type of charities instead!

Thoughts??

agree

I agree too.

How about

Front Plaque reads:

Fans Focus Charity Trophy

'Kindly supplied by Ivor Baker Awards'

Second plaque to name who we play each year and charity :

Should be a good number from South Park coming to watch the game, Club Secretary (Sparky100) has already put 2 posters up in the club and will put it in the next programme, also has donated a signed Geoff Hurst picture for the raffle on behalf of the club.

Forum Squad, would you be willing to pay £10 for a new shirt to wear on the day? Will have a number on the back, but not a name. Choice of size and long or short sleeves. Normally £15 for just the shirt.

May be a good idea to put any monies into the charity rather than pay for shirts. By the way if I can't make it I would like to make a donation how could I go about that......

Stupid question, but what sort of picture? Does it have to be a mug shot, or just a general picture of yourself?
